I really can't get my head around why people get upset about comments on forums. I guess there are limits, some stuff could be politically or religiously sensitive etc but sarcasm, TIC, failed humour, cheekiness, disagreement etc. I really don't see the need for serious response to that? Clearly, people will disagree, but it just seems a bit pansy to me. Understood but some actually push for reaction. There is form here mate. I'll PM you.

Hahaha Some people need to stop living in the past and think about where we are. There's not going to be a wave of a magic want and everything will go back to how it was ten years ago. It's going to take time, effort and hard work. Next to no one was doubting Clarke before the Grimsby game. Next to no one criticised his signings or tactics or attitude. "We want our Rovers back" It's not gone anywhere. More like "We want to be in League One again" or "We want to win games again" Doesn't everyone? It sure as hell doesn't happen overnight. Give the man his 8 games. Are you tripping ? Plenty of criticism and questioning was visible throughout the Summer. Have you been in a cave ? It was obvious the budget was cut and not only once. DC made a rod for his back by proclaiming his team would play with pace and wingers, we have gone from having nailed on wingers coming in to getting one from Luton on loan and trying to get Gosling to play as the other plus DC is seemingly not even close to having any cohesive strategy for the players to stick to. When you have a guy who was ready to lay blame on another manager so readily then you have to accept that people will do the same with you. No, many of us questioned and were critical of affairs long before the season started. It was patently obvious that we were again unprepared. I don't get your argument. I merely stated that people need to stop living in that past and holding up signs that say "Lambert" are going to do f**k all, and quite frankly make us look like idiots on TV? I know as well as you do that we're knee deep in horse s*** but holding up "Penrice" and "Mabbutt" signs and saying "We want our rovers back" isn't going to get us anywhere. That was my point, I never said I was happy with how things are, but for christ's sake give him eight games, then sack him.

I should add the contempt and arrogance of so called moderators v anyone who holds a different opinion. Your response is a disgrace and very sad. Congratulations I see you've carried it on with others showing your true colours. Thanks.

Bing bong forum split alert. Well done Ras ... A moderator but you immediately take the water out of my post ... I should add the contempt and arrogance of so called moderators v anyone who holds a different opinion. Your response is a disgrace and very sad. Congratulations I see you've carried it on with others showing your true colours. I posted in another thread re mods, On the O/S one of users biggest gripes was that the mods and admin were invisible and could do what they wanted with out any recourse as they hid behind their keyboards, at least here the mods and admin are out in the open, of course they will have different opinions to us, and quite rightly so. I've admined and moded several forums and it's a thankless job. at least here we are allowed to respond to them. On the O/S these type of thread would have either disappeared or posts would have been deleted. not taking your or the mods side just saying it like it is

Right that's it sir i challenge you to a duel using french stick in tescos carpark, i will defend to my crusty death the honour of garden flowers called pansies . you sir will retract that statement forthwith . or i shall be forced to find £1.6 0 to arm myself in anticiation of a duel nah bollocks to that i just realised i like french stick more than pansies, so feel free to carry on abusing poor little garden growth, and i sir will carry on abusing drugs, why only this morning did i heavilly abuse some drugs i went into boots and shouted f**k off you sick ball bags at the paracetemols

Bog rolls I tell thee. Inoffensive, safe, easy to clear, easy to get into the ground, and will get the point across and be seen on tv.

Impregnate the bog rolls with grass seed and sand, so as they degrade they will sand and seed the pitch, that should keep Oldie happy

This thread illustrates why the only thing that will happen is unorganised chaos. The loonies will run riot if they want to but any 'positive protest' won't get off the ground.

The wertabix thing was a laugh at Shrewsbury but you'd only get upset parents now if little Johnny gets a crumb in the eye. Bog rolls signify excrement and would be more pleasing to the tv eye. The commentators would make the connection too. And they are cheaper.

I told this story to Martin, when he was collecting stories for away days. Many years ago we had a special train. I think it was to Luton, but I could be wrong. Anyway the game was called off before we got to the destination. So we were shunted here, there and everywhere before we could turn around. At one point we were on a bridge over looking a high street. Someone threw a bog roll out the window of the train. By the time it hit the ground there was still a fair bit left on the roll. There was an old woman on the pavement with one of those trolleys on two wheels doing her shopping. She stepped into the road. Tore of the bog roll and put the remainder in her trolley. And off she went.....
