Decent game by both sides, impressive debut by JCS, going for the throat cost us as we had not reorganised immediately after the substitutions: Billy Bob didn't close down the wide man or stop the cross, centre halves hadn't worked out who was picking out whom once the spare man at the back had gone off. Easter sending off did not help but we gave them problems with ten men just as we had with eleven. That level of performance will secure us more wins than it does defeats.

Results in and Chris Lines is Man of the Match with a score of 7.92.
The starting XI average was 6.33. This was the second highest for a defeat in a league game after the Carlisle away game last season (6.43).
As this is the 10th league game this season, I will update the season statistics thread later.
Roos 7.2
Leadbitter 5.6 J. Clarke 7.0 Lockyer 7.6 Clarke-Salter 7.6 Brown 6.8
O. Clarke 7.3 Boateng 7.5 Lines 7.9
Harrison 6.8 Easter 6.1
Subs: Moore 6.1 Bodin 5.6 James 5.3
Crowd 7.8 Ref 6.2 Sheffield United 6.5

SU 6.5 BR 6.33 ...seems the ratings had the blades just shading it too!

SU 6.5 BR 6.33 ...seems the ratings had the blades just shading it too! Yet everyone who was there seems to think we were the better side. Just goes to show stats don't always tell the whole story.
