I'd rather he'd of said one big striker and two creative midfielders, but three signings is more than I expected and it's good news. Good interview, I hope people do try and get behind the lads and be a bit more positive. Whether you think DC is the man or not, at least give him every chance for a few games.

Looking for 3 signings is one thing but are they going to be of the desired quality and are we going to back Clarke or is it or just words?
Did anyone else think he looked rather nervy, watch his hands when he's talking. Seemed a much more mellow, paler version of himself. Not the arrogant Mr Higgs we've become accustomed to.

I may have heard it wrong but the way he talked about new players sounded like DC was directed to get them. Againay need to listen again. Could be they feel he is taking too long

I would say he was as frustrated as any fan would be and probably more because he puts his money behind it and WANTS to be successful. Unfortunately in life we don't always get what we want. I too was delighted that he hinted at three new players coming in and I would assume that is in addition to Turley eventually signing.

It seems as if there is positive news regarding the UWE Stadium and that's offered me a bit of reassurance. It's interesting to note that we used to have nobody willing to invest in us and now we have loads but need to vet them... I hope there's some movement on that front soon - God knows we need it.
The three new players is also good news and the fact he has come out and said about wanting two of them this week suggests deals are close to completion. I'd rather, as others have said, we prioritised creative midfield players but I still think a striker is necessary. Fingers crossed we get one or two of them on board before Saturday because that would give us fans some sort of lift going into the game, which will hopefully translate across to the players.

Tbh that's all I could concentrate on first time of viewing, his hand and fingers, a lot of thumb twiddling and stuff, definitely came across a bit nervy to me and not his usual gruff arrogant self, dare I say it a bit humbled by the current situation. Agree with what's been said re signings, 3 players in, if of the quality desired would give us a much needed boost, but at least one if them MUST be a creative mid imo.

He looked a little uncomfortable initially but actually settled into the interview quite well and became more comfortable as it went along

On my jollies so trying to forget but he looks and sounds about as uncomfortable as anyone could. Says some good stuff and bless his cash, but rabbits and headlights. If he was your boss, would you be pulling rabbits out of hats on a Monday morning til Friday night? GD departure just makes him more in charge and i ain't seeing a man up for it.

I won't believe any of this until those 3 singings are at the club.
Apart from that I genuinely feel sorry for NH, anyone who says he doesn't care about Rovers doesn't have a clue. It's obvious that the bloke is a Gashead who has invested a lot of his own time and money and for what? Failure after failure.

I wonder if he cares about Rovers...and his investments....as much as he cared about his construction business? Not that he should or shouldn't of course. If he has made mistakes at BRFC. Would he have made the same errors with his own company? It would be interesting if NH released a book!

Certainly sounds like funds have just been released. Read in to that what you will I guess.

The board have a big history of responding when under the cosh with a bit of extra money or a few signings. Thats why its important to keep the pressure up on them when times are tough. They are very reactionary.
Just very happy we have room for more players

It sounded to me as though funds have just been made available to DC. Fingers crossed that this is a turning point.

Plenty of quality to be had if getting players in on a long term loan ... but that all depends on contacts. Anyhow ... a lot of upbeat messages on the playing side, UWE, and future investment ... well done Nick.
