Roos 4. Little to do first half. Without seeing highlights, I really think he should have saved their 3rd and 5th. Leadbitter 5. Crossing quite poor. A few quality last ditch tackles, but overall poor. Lockyer 3.5. Shocking performance from Tom. Needs a game or two on the bench, but don't see it happening with JCS injured. JCS 5. Best defender but still poor. Good tackle which caused his injury though. Brown 4.5. Not at it tonight.
Moore 5. Rather ineffective. Has pace but doesn't use it enough. Sinclair 6. Typical Sinclair performance but needs to take the ball forward, rather than sideways or backwards! Lines 5. Far too many misplaced passes. Montano 4 Passing extremely poor. Saw little of the ball out wide.
Gaffney 7. MOM. Only one to come out of the game with any credit. Put himself about really well and was unlucky not to score when the keeper deliberately took him down for the penalty. Taylor 4. Had a bit of a mare really.
Subs Hartley 4.5. Hasn't got the legs to cope with the pace of league 1 strikers. Colkett 4. Passing dreadful. Did very little. Harrison 3. Better than recent performances but still absolutely pathetic. Blasted over a golden opportunity and gave the ball away too much. Confused as to why he came on instead of Easter.
Crowd 7 Ref 6.5 Charlton 7

Clearly each member of the squad saw a single magpie smash into a mirror that then fell on a black cat just as it was going under a ladder. Circus class comedy of errors tonight.
Roos 3 made a couple of good saves but waved a couple in too, both he and Puddy have learned to dive under the ball so it is out of reach at head height Leadbitter 4 was looking ok until a nightmare five minute spell where nothing went where he intended and he got skinned for their second, improved again towards the end of the second half but the damage had been done by then. JCS 5 almost got us level with some set piece headers and seemed to be bringing the ball out of defence quite well but then lapsed into panic hoofball and then picked up a nasty looking injury Lockyer 4 made a timely interception when they'd beaten Roos but it only delayed the carnage. The skipper appears to have taught them all his method of passing!! Browner 3 started the passing to the opposition trend and couldn't snap out of it. Sinclair 6 he and Gaffers were somewhere near normal Lines 4 well he never gave up but for every decision or pass he got right there were four he got wrong Moore 2 nothing he did came off in the first half Montano 2 seemed determined to emulate Moore Taylor 4 it might have been different if he had tucked away the early chance he got but he failed like everyone else to produce on the night Gaffney 7 MOTM ovbviously was in a different room when they were dishing out the incompetence powder.
Colkett 2 tried in vain to stop the rot but his passes were off radar and with an air of desperation Hartley 3 made a difference in the second half adding slowness and lack of marking to the mix Harrison 2 came on, blasted a decent chance over, passed to Charlton regularly, ran about, and didn't fall over as much as Saturday
Crowd 7 spirited Ref 7 Charlton 6. Didn't need to be at their best to beat our horror show but gained confidence from our ineptitude and finished the game like world beaters

Shocking defensive performance, we were bullied and looked shell shocked. Cannot understand why we have all lost form at the same time (except Gaffers)

Roos 4 not helped by an almost non-existent defence but one or maybe two goals were down to him Leadbitter 5 tried his best but looked off the pace Lockyer 5 one magnificent stop near the end, bullied for the rest of the game Clarke-Salter 5.5 a difficult game for him. get well soon Jake Brown 5.5 battled gamely but suffered when Monty was withdrawn Moore 4.5 completely ineffective Sinclair 5 strangely off the pace Lines 6 tried his best but had no support Montano 5.5 little service, tried his best but largely ineffective Taylor 5 nice penalty little else Gaffney 7 M.o.M worked his socks off, deserved to score when cynically fouled by the keeper Subs: Hartley 5.5 made no difference Colkett 4 awful, he's beginning to look a fair weather player Harrison 5 ran around a bit, no worse than anyone else Crowd 8 superb, kept singing to the end,yes quite a few left but that doesnt detract from the many who sang their hearts out until the end Ref 7 quite good Charlton 8 looked a good side, they could only beat what was put in front of them and that they did with embarrassing ease

My own opinions from the match:
Roos 4 Couldn't be blamed for all of the goals but had to do better for at least one of them
Leadbitter 5.5 Caught out for the second goal but I felt he got forward well and was solid on his flank Lockyer 4.5 Tough night Clarke-Salter 4.5 Struggled with the physicality of Magennis Brown 6 Didn't do much wrong
Moore 4 Didn't do much wrong but was completely peripheral to the game and had to try to get involved more than he did Sinclair 4 Kept running but midfield was our biggest problem Lines 4 Lots of misplaced passes, good run came too late Montano 5.5 Did okay in the first half
Taylor 4.5 Didn't really get in the game but to be fair he lacked service Gaffney 6.5 Worked really hard all game and often won the ball when he had no right to. Received little service all night but kept going to win the penalty
Subs: Hartley 4 Didn't look comfortable in a back three. Colkett 4.5 Completely off his game Harrison 5.5 Shocking miss from Leadbitter's cross but I didn't think he played too badly and he worked hard
You couldn't put down this defeat to any one individual unlike the Newport game last year where Nicholls and Parkes had shockers. Almost all of the team were off their game and simple passes became a challenge. Charlton weren't great but we made them look so.

Lockyer 3.5. Shocking performance from Tom. Needs a game or two on the bench, but don't see it happening with JCS injured.

I will not waste time on comments because it was an all round shocking performance.
Roos. 2 Lead bitter. 4 Lockyer. 4 Clarke salter 5 Brown. 4 Montana. 2 Moore. 2 Sinclair. 3 Lines. 4 Taylor. 4 Gaffney. 4.5
Hartley. 4 Collette. 4 Harrison. 4
Ref. 7 Charlton. 6.5
I give the subs 4 each because by the time they came on we were a beaten dispirited side so they were on a hiding to nothing
