Born in 1959 but still hasn't learnt how to use the Caps Lock? Given most posters on here seem to have been born in the 60's/70's I'd have thought they represent most of the fans the OP grew up with anyway? If they feel the forum is full of racists etc why have they kept on using it, and how many times have they reported these inappropriate posts to the mods? i admit i missed out the caps lock issue which was a bad error but i havnt got a smart phone only a acer chromebook and the caps lock is a pain to use as there isnt one.

Why did people in ye olden days (or today in the case of jaggas) call it the wireless when it clearly wasn't, since there was a fairly obvious cable plugging it into the nearest socket?

The wireless refers to the fact that the signal they receive is picked up without being connected to a telegraph system, not that it has no wires to connect it to a power source.

Perhaps you could put an interesting fact on the forum every day, and at the end of the year we`d all know 365 things that we didn`t previously. Apart from leap years.
