Just about kept our pride intact .... our awful defending especially at set pieces just confirms we aren't top six just yet.
Would be interested to know more about the absences of Gaffney and Sweeney today ....
Please DC do not sign Luke James for next season ..... have a worrying feeling you will to try and prove a point ...

The high goal conceding of late even with Lumley in goal probably shows previous keepers were not so bad as everyone made out.
Confidence soon fades when left exposed time after time and mistakes then follow.
Still a long way to go and dispite a good first season still ending disappointing in 10th place finishing 3 points behind oxford when being ahead of them all season nearly.
DC will have no doubts where the main improvements are needed.
congratulations to Millwall upon reaching the playoffs.

Looked like Ellis just stood watching that one !! To be fair to him he had pulled up injured or just knackered when he subbed off Easter for James, but if the ref have given us a foul when James got ahead of the defender Millwall wouldn't have even been in our half let alone winning a corner. |

If this was around the other way and we were relying on other teams for a play off place we would be fuming. I remember watching Stevenage? grind out a 0-0 with Accrington last match of last season that helped us. The commitment of those Stevenage players, who had nothing to play for, was credit to their professionalism. |
