some have said stuart and danny are leaving in january,i hope not dannys surging pacey forward runs and stuarts honest effort and no holds barred tackling is the sort of thing that makes watching rovers worthwhile,2 of our best players in my opinion, danny has a 2 year deal and stu has played most games so i hope its not true. any opinions?

The terrible truth about this rumour is that it has come about purely because of Wael undermining DC.

A dodgy goalie will give the whole team the jitters.

Sinclair has proved adequate at this level.
Danny IMO has been poor.
However, neither are expensive and both are fit and can be effective. So many ahead of them to be shipped on.
We don't know what we are buying in though. We could have some great players joining, it might look sensible if we buy 3 or 4 good players.
Agree that I pay to watch these players. Danny's pace can be electric, sinclairs effort is great to watch, epitomises Rovers.

Can't see it myself, they're both regular starters and they're both under contract. Think they are too important to us for us to just let them go, but not good enough to mean someone pays a fee for them. UTG!

"some have said" who's said and what's the source of the rumour, or is it just more nonsense from the OP who seems to be on some odd mission to undermine Wael/DC lately.

I feel like Sinclair has been OK but Danny has been, in the games I've seen him play, stand out. His pace is electric but his work rate has been even better. For me Leads has been the reason Brown has looked so poor, as the vast majority of opposition attacking play comes down our left side. All about opinions as they say...

Leadbitter reminds me of Kyle Walker. He will have some shockers because his football brain and technical ability isn't that great. But his extreme pace and work rate will get him out of trouble sometimes and if things go for him and he does get it right, he'll have some games where he looks like the best player on the pitch. Edit: With regards Brown, he is probably a better all round footballer than DL but doesn't have the pace which I think is the most important attribute of a fullback

You are right it is all about opinions, for me if Danny Leadbitter could cross the ball consistently well he would be gone in January. His major asset is his speed as this allows him to recover nine times out of ten for his lack of positional ability. He is much like Michael Smith in his early days, learning the game. As for "the beard" he does what it says on the tin. Others will certainly leave before these two unless an offer is put on the table that the club is prepared to accept. UTG

I wouldn't mind any of these players leaving as long as they're replaced with better!

UTG I thought Leads looked miles better when we played P'boro recently, Smithy seemed to have lost his attacking ability, unless that was just how P'boro now want him to play. As far as crossing the ball I doubt Beckham would have any joy crossing to our strikers this season.
