More fool him for fleeing to Italy. He should have wangled his way into the UK.
We`d have put him up in a hotel for eight years, while the human rights lawyers argued for him to be allowed to stay.
Probably would have paid for him to go on an HGV course, too.

Having just returned from France myself, it would have been fairly easy and South American embassies seem fairly comfortable.
More seriously, though, the European Arrest Warrant would have seen him back in Berlin quickly enough and he would almost certainly have been caught in a Calais.

We should instigate a non lethal shoot policy for terrorists, simple either get the spine at point blank range or kneecap n elbow em. That way rather than become martyrs , they would have an uncomfortable life, being dressed and washed by men in prison.
