Can Will Puddy get a clean sheet? 2 in 3 games I've said all along he's a decent keeper. We could do better in league 1 than Puddy but he isn't as bad as many say he is.

Nice to see Boats leave the field last and thank the Gas. Interesting comments from the Cobblers' forum: The Bristol Rovers starting XI all played for them in League Two last season, along with most of the subs. If this doesn't prove that D'Ath, Byrom, McDonald etc should have been in the 18 I don't know what does. Its all about continuity, players raise their game. You can't pigeon hole players, saying they arent good enough for the level above. and Only made promotion in the last minute of the season, finished 14 points below us but have now done the double scoring 8 goals in the process. You're right, they held on to most of the squad, and despite having new rich owners they haven't gone out and splashed the cash because they've not needed to!! That thread looks like an otib thread www.smfserver.com/forums/thehotelend/index.php/topic,15786.100.html Huggy and we think DC gets stick on here,

Shrewsbury mistake was a blip, probably based on his lack of game time. Whether he'd want to be back-up here long term is another matter. Interesting to see if this Italian keeper gets a deal.

We have smashed 8 past Northampton (midtable) and been smashed for 9 by Charlton (mid table) sometimes football can't be explained ! It's a great time to be a Gashead - another great performance, another entertaining game at The Mem. That's 29 goals from us at home in 14 games - well done DC and the boys !! If you have got Gashead mates who don't go - try and persuade them to come !! It doesn't get much better than this - the last time someone got 4 for us was Lambo in 2008 - then we were much more a one-man team. Now we have a front 6 who are playing great attacking football and they are all providing us with some WOW moments! 3 hat tricks this season - Taylor, Bodin and Harrison. Wouldn't be surprised if we see more this season.

Macca was superb. And him and and Lockyer together is the partnership we should have had weeks ago. Let's see how they do in the next few away games.

I've said all along he's a decent keeper. We could do better in league 1 than Puddy but he isn't as bad as many say he is. I think he's benefited from decent keeper coaching from Stewart Naylor and probably training with Mildy and now Roos has helped him improve his game (i'd also imagine training matches featuring Taylor, Gaffds, Bodin and Harrison, help our keepers improve). He's certainly not a bad keeper, that description I reserve for Scotts Howie and Shearer, both absolute rubbish.

Puddy is ok (we need better when we are under pressure and need a keeper to dominate his area) but the goals he conceded away to Pompey and Shrewsbury rank as some of the worst Ive seen from a Rovers keeper.

They were close to administration couple seasons ago and now mid table in league 1.
