Puddy - 7 could've come for some crosses but did what he had to and a clean sheet.
J. Clarke - 8 excellent defensively and getting forward. More pace than given credit for. Lockyer - 8 a rock alongside mm McChrystal - 9 excellent and organised Brown - 8 solid and got forward well
Bodin - 8 quality goal and back to his best. Looking forward to plenty of goals from him in the second half of the season O. Clarke - 9 absolutely outstanding and really starting to play well Lines - 7.5 outshined by his partner but an excellent game nonetheless Montano - 7 didn't shine today but still played well. I can't give any of this starting side less than a 7
Taylor - 7 clever movement and contributed despite not scoring Harrison - 10 won't see a better performance than that
Subs: Moore - 7 looked good. Amazing what coming on at 5-0 will do to a player! Easter - 6 didn't do a lot but didn't need to Lawrence - NOLE
Crowd - 8 good attendance post Xmas and new year. Good noise after goals 3 or 4 and then went flat but the game was done Ref - 8 had little to do Northampton - 2 not good and could slide down that table very rapidly

Puddy 6 nothing to do Clarke J. 7.5 Did his job very well Brown. 6.5 Only ok for me MCcrystal 8.5 Organised the defence brilliantly on his return. He was the real skipper. Lockyer. 8 Best game of the season. Passing still crap though.
Bodin. 8.5 What a sight when he is on his game
Clarke O. 8.5 Like a new player recently. Lines. 8. Did his job brilliantly. Montano. 7.5 A very good performance
Harrison 10. The best finisher at the club.
Taylor 5 Missed another simple header. Did nothing all game.

Puddy - 6.5 - Very little to do, never comes for crosses when at times he probably should, the plus side of that is the defence are never unsure on what he will do!
J. Clarke 7.5 - Solid performance Lockyer 7.5 - Solid McChrystal 8.5 - Organised and marshalled the defence well. Brown 7.5 - Solid and got forward really well in first half.
Bodin 8 - Great skill leading up to the first goal and the shot took me by surprise being on his right foot as he so often goes back onto his left. O. Clarke - 8.5 - Like a different player recently, so much more composed on the ball especially in tight spaces and wanting the ball more. Really surprising me. Lines 8 - Class act bar 2 uncharacteristic misplaced passes, him and Taylor often seem to be on the same wave length. Him and Clarke are beginning to become a formidable partnership in the middle Montano 6.5 - Did ok but probably
Taylor 6.5 - Did ok, unfortunate not to win a penalty. Harrison 9.5 - Gets knocked down half a point as most of his finishes were easy but wow what an outstanding performance, beast mode was dedfinitely acitvated on Saturday, absolutely everywhere, it wasn't just his finishes but also his general play, like look at the first goal he scored, it is good play by him in the build up and absolutely dominated in the air, even after his 4 goals he still looked hungry and I think it was good management by DC to keep Ellis on for the full 90.
Subs: Moore - 6.5 Did ok but cut inside or stopped on one or two occcasions Easter 6.5 - Controlled the ball really well at one point, did ok. Lawrence NOLE
Crowd 8 Ref 7 - Really good ref for once but felt that he almost felt sorry for Northampton as they started getting the run of the decisions. Northampton 3 - Not bad going forward but defensively very poor. They weren't great but as bad as they were, I thought we were electric.

Results in and Ellis Harrison was MotM with a score of 9.57.
This was the second highest rating ever on these threads after Matty Taylor's 9.9 against Wycombe last season.
The previous second highest score was Lines' 9.2 in the second leg of the Conference play-off. McChrystal in goal against Wrexham and Roos this season against Bradford are the only other players to score a 9 or above.
Harrison's previous best was an 8.3 away to Kidderminster in the Conference season.
Ollie Clarke's 8.4 was his highest score of the season and the fourth highest of the season by anyone. Only 5 times before in 132 games has a played scored 8.4 or higher but not been MotM.
The referee, Gavin Ward, received the second highest referee rating of the season after the ref for the Bury game. His score also puts him 11th highest on the list of referee ratings.
The starting XI average was 7.56- the highest of the season. It was also the fifth highest overall behind the Dagenham promotion game (8.01), FGR second leg (7.73), Barnet home 15/16 (7.59) and Luton away 15/16 (7.58)
Puddy 6.6
J. Clarke 7.3 Lockyer 7.5 McChrystal 8.0 Brown 7.0
Bodin 7.7 O. Clarke 8.4 Lines 7.8 Montano 6.8
Taylor 6.5 Harrison 9.6
Subs: Moore 6.5 Easter 6.4 Lawrence 6.2
Crowd 7.7 Ref 7.2 Northampton 3.5
