At the moment it seems Wael & Hamer are struggling to come up with many better ideas? Really? I tend to think buying and developing our own training facilities and getting us out of the original UWE agreement represent a pretty good start, don't you think? Stop it! You just stop that reasonable thinking right now!

If I was still living and had my business in Bristol I'd definitely have a go for this. Always thought it was a great idea. Mind you, my business was in North Street in Bedminster so I'd have come in for a lot of stick over there but everyone knew I was Gas anyway, and not just because I told 'em, it also had something to do with my swagger and the way I held myself. UTG!

Again it's evolution. One if the better ideas that works for all the reasons mentioned above. Good community initiative. There are enough things that need to change before changing something that doesn't need to change. UTG!

Why change something that works well and is a success. Not only that it encourages local business to get involved for a relatively low cost and if they win get some good advertising for a very low outlay. If and when we reach higher levels in our great game the money rich big business barons will come calling and the world will be our oyster.

I was hoping for a 'normal' sponsorship deal for next season, but as others have mentioned, if it ain't broke, then why try to fix it. I would guess selling 90+ tickets at over £1200 a pop brings in far more than any sponsorship payment we could currently command??

Isn't there a part of FFP rules that stops companies owners doing OTT sponsorship deals with their own companies? I'm probably wrong but I have a vague recollection of this. No source just a vague memory.

Was thinking of entering my company but is there enough room for "Bolders gimp costumes" on the shirt?

Does it have to be a business or can I pay the £1250 and just have my name on the shirt if I win? Or alternatively, this forum could buy a ticket - now there is a thought for the MODS

Or alternatively, this forum could buy a ticket - now there is a thought for the MODS I think the FFS bought a ticket last year (or the year before, maybe). Then I put this as a firm proposal to the FFSC to consider. I wonder how many likes or dislikes this proposal will get!!!!!!!!!!

No doubt parrot or JTS will be along on this shortly. As a member of the ffsc I would doubt there is enough money in the coffers to do this, considering we are already sponsoring every goal scored by the gas this season at £25/goal. I believe the membership is only just over the hundred or so, if more people on here joined it would be easily possible. Having said that there still appears to be a reluctance from some to pay the £10 membership even though the club get every penny of it. Come on gasheads you know it makes sense!

Entered the draw in Trolls time with Badengas junior and had a great day out, plan was to put photos of our faces on the front of the shirt ! Agree with all those who think this is now part of "us".
