He's a lump of a centre-forward, ungainly, an old-fashioned battering ram of a striker.......but that goal last weekend was probably one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen on a football pitch, and that includes Michelle Thorne !

The Giroud goal was special as well because the build-up was so good......However, Andy Carroll's goal is the one I'll be having wet dreams over!

The Giroud goal is the best purely for his flick inside in the build up and how far and fast the big man traveled to get up the other end. All three goals go some way to proving that a half decent cross is massively overrated.
