Some people just like to focus on the negative I'm afraid. It makes them feel justified when things go bad. Interested to hear what positives I have missed today. Could you feel me in on them? I wasn't at the game so can comment on nothing but the result - which was bad. I can however still find many positives from our situation and will choose to reflect on them. If you're the kind of person who dwells on all the bad things, then that's all that life will ever be for you. I would suggest you think about what is good at the club and you never know, you might be surprised at how you feel about things afterwards. If this proves to be difficult, get back to me and I'll hand feed you some.

"Likewise the useless Gaffney over Easter." Harsh, I've said it before, I'm not his biggest fan, but to call him useless is so wrong IMO. "I fear getting dragged into a relegation fight if our home form drys up." Like wise, if our away form betters, we could get into a promotion battle. Were you at the match today, I thought not. The fact he was replaced by Broom sums his performance up. The chances of our away form improving with the present squad is non existent at present. No I wasn't, but I don't judge a player on 1 game. Good on you for posting on here while you were at the game When I'm at a game prefer to watch the game...

Think Locks may need a break to be honest, struggled today. Surprised Partington didn't play, looks a presence. Would be amazed if the pattern of individual mistake followed by a goal continues in our away games, frustrating. Wasn't there today but becomes more and more obvious its a combination central defence / GK issue from what I heard. Bet the final bits of DC's January jigsaw are these positions. Right pub beckons. Catch you later . . . It's definitely a combination of GK and CB when the manager goes 2 at the back. Oddly you concede goals but blame lockyer or any of the others of it makes you feel better

Just back.Gaffers and Lockyer out of their depth at this level.Once Linesy headed them the ball for their first game was over.Lockyer and Byron Moore gifted them goals two and three. These small clubs like Walsall,Shrewsbury and Fleetwood all get small crowds but beat us and have much nicer grounds.Another sad day away. Pic of a free kick from which Etheridge made a superb save.

For those fearing relegation, Coventry and Oldham have won 4 games each all season and even if they repeat that, they will be miles away from us! The next three teams have won 7 games - they could win their next 4 games on the trot and still be behind us - highly unlikely as they probably haven't won four on the trot all season! Toni Watola has confirmed that we won't be planning for relegation!!!

I'm sure the sand tastes very good. I'll look at what I've seen today and either the manager was forced into playing 2 at the back because the first team squad is threadbare (he assembles the squad) or he chose suicidal tactics at one nil. Very telling that you can't give me any positives to take away. PS I still beleive in DC but I fear with a tough February and a threadbare squad (may yet be improved) we will be heading down the league. However I'd have taken staying up at the start of the season but after getting into a great position I worry we are about to capitulate.

DC has assumed that we will be safe from relegation and that is why he has pointed the "6" towards the door. I believe his assumption is premature and the time to experiment is after we are safe as safety is not guaranteed. MM and GE both represent good value and should not be disregarded at this stage of the season. If DC had set up more defensively after the Millwall defeat I believe we would have conceded fewer goals during this bad run and possibly gained a few draws. Tom should not be immune from being dropped. He has played a great number of games for his age and probably needs a rest.

This is the match thread is it really at a surprise that fans are commenting on the match and not on the present state of the club generally. Perhaps instead of telling other posters what they should post after a match you should attend the next away match and then post your own views.

Tom won't be dropped next week I would guarantee that I wouldn't be surprised to see him play but equally if as suggested another CB is signed this week the option is there to leave him out. Assuming we play 4-4-2 we'd have Lockyer, J Clarke, Partington, Sweeney & AN Other competing for 2 spots

A good week for Walsall this week....beat Rovers 3-1 to follow last Saturdays 4-1 demolition of league leaders Shef Utd. Walsall were nothing special, they just defended well compared to us. The same problems are still apparent and still happening and i'm sorry but it wateres me off. I can take getting beat but to gift teams goals like today must be sorted and soon, hopefully our new signings will help.

If you look at my time line you'll see I was posting on my way home, although the second half was so poor I was tempted to leave early. I'll post a copy of my ticket if you still don't believe me. I can't see an inexperienced kid is going to solve our defensive problems but I live in hope.
