I suppose I should congratulate him, but it just doesn't seem right that Spudhead, with his multiple disappointing failures at every meaningful tournament, should not only be the top England goal scorer, but also the top for Man United.
Amazing achievements I know, but I can't see him being remembered 20 years from now in the way that Charlton, Greaves and Lineker are still remembered today.

Totally agree, not sure what it is but I just can't bring myself to put him in the same category as those players. |
