I've asked the guy with the sexy wife to come on here and make a statement about both this, and his wife.

If Wycombe are in the wrong (and they appear to be up to their necks) how are the FA going to sort out compensation to all the other clubs in League 2 (including Rovers) for Wycombe's breach of FFP rules?

do you suppose our barrister might be telling us we've got every chance of getting a result out of this, when secretly he knows we've got no chance and he really would like a holiday in Dubai.... Sounds like TRASH's barrister.

While I don't see any chance of us getting a reprieve, at least we've got something to talk about.

The issue is this if Wycombe owe compensation to every other club in League 2 for breach of FFP and do not have the resources to pay - what is the FA /Football League going to do with them? Chuck them out? But they will probably give them a reasonable time to pay up - which will be too late for us!!

That's the point really Finnish. They can't pay compensation so the quick alternative is to relegate them. If Sheff Utd had had the balls, they would have got West Hams place in the premiership.
They allowed themselves to be bought. Well, there's no danger of that here, coz Wycombe haven't got any money. So the only alternative is relegate them.
Even if this happens, everybody must follow through on the questioning of the board. They have got away with crass incompetence for too long.
If we are really aggrieved, we could put an injunction on the fixture lists until it is sorted. That might wake up some sleepy old farts at the League and the FA.
Not it a nice few days in prospect, but i don't care. If it gets us back in the league I won't mind.
We we may make ourselves unpopular but again I don't care.
I can hear the chants now: No one likes us we don't care, f... You, f... You , to the tune of Campdown Races.
And we'd still be more popular than Millwall Cardiff and the S..t.

I've already invested enough into this club, emotionally. I'm not going to get my hopes up only to be let down again. The club should have kept quiet about this and announced it when the outcome is decided, as opposed to injecting us with false hope. If we lose this case, it will feel like relegation all over again.
Mind you, if somehow this comes off, I will be getting very, very drunk.

I've heard that it is in the public domain because the press got hold of it. So not the clubs fault.

Financial and/or transfer penalty I imagine. If it sticks. I desperately hope this isn't the boards big play and all they've been doing for the last few weeks. I hope we are planning for the coming season in the conference as there is no way in high heaven the FA would relegate a team for this.

Having read that I eagerly await the outcome of this and who's to say a points deduction for the past season will not happen. I imagine this is the last thing Wycombe wanted to come out having got away quite lightly on the recent case. Looks like the legal eagles at the FA/FL appear to have overlooked a few important details!

It is only because Sheffield Utd took the money that no further action was taken. In effect they sold out. If I remember rightly Swindon got promotion but had to stay in the same division for player irregularities. Anyone ?
