Lumley 7 clean sheet assured performance.
Partington 7 Great full debut, good in the air and on the ground and has a bit of speed. looked promising getting forward. Lockyer 7 Good game with no mistakes. Had a good battle with his man. Sweeney 8 MOTM absolute rock, won everything in the air and had a commanding presence. Brown 6 grew into the game but still struggling for form.
Bodin 7 some sublime touches and skill but not helped by the pitch. Lines 7 good shift had to battle. O. Clarke 7 got stuck in and really did well last 20. Sinclair 6 battled well some good passes.
James 6 ran his socks off no real clear cut chances. Harrison 6 same as James.
Subs: Gaffney 5 Montano 5
Crowd 8 vocal and supportive. Ref 3 inconsistent and incompetent at times. Rochdale 6 organised with quality but we more than matched them in the battle. In a tight game we looked the more likely team to nick it

Lumley 7 he is looking to be a good young keeper and is growing in confidence each game. Partington 7.5 Looks a very decent player, good debut and an astute signing by DC. Brown 7 particularly good going forward unlucky not to score Sweeney 8 the rock we have been missing, big powerful and athletic Lockyer 7.5 looks a different player with Sweeney beside him. Sinclair 6.5 looked a little lost today ended on the left of midfield after playing the first half in front of the opposing back four. O Clarke 8.5 MOM playing out of his skin, if he continues clubs will be after him in the summer. Lines 7 not the kind of pitch for his type of football, he tried though Bodin 7 looks dangerous on the ball but again not the pitch for his skills James 6.5 ran his socks off, will improve with more game time Harrison 7 battled well with no real effect
Montano Nole Gaffney 6 usual Gaffers effort with no finish.
Crowd 10 great effort by the gas followers Ref 3 water poor one of the worst DC 8 didn't quite understand Sinclair's role but as long as DC does. Rochdale 6 looked devoid of confidence
A good solid clean sheet on a very difficult pitch. Cannot be sure we have much strike power without the snake but we must give Luke James time as the fitter he gets the best we will see of him. My only worry is one or two of the strikers get injured or suspended. UTG

Lumley - 7 - didn't have much to do but did it well
partington - 7.5 - really impressive debut I thought Lockyer - 7.5 Sweeney - 8.5 - motm for me, though he does hold on to players a lot, risks booking / pens? Brown - 7
Bodin - 7 - moments of great skill but not his best game Lines - 7 - O. Clarke - 8 - he really continues to improve
Sinclair - 7.5 - Fear the beard, he was everywhere
James - 7. - took a while but towards the end showed some good moments Harrison - 8 - one of his better games, really gave their defence problems
Subs: Gaffney - 6.5 - not good or bad, difficult to score compared with those playing longer Montano - no on long enough
Crowd - Gas 8 Dale - 6 Ref - 4 Rochdale - 6

Results in and Ryan Sweeney just pipped Ollie Clarke to Man of the Match with a score of 8.10.
As a result, Ollie Clarke missed out on being the first player to score 4 MotMs in a row. He did however become the second player (after Neal Trotman) to be MotM or runner-up in 6 consecutive games.
The starting XI average was 7.10, the highest for any non-win this season and since the draw at Exeter last season.
With 30 league games now completed, I will update the season statistics in the next day or so.
Lumley 7.2
Partington 7.4 Lockyer 7.3 Sweeney 8.1 Brown 6.6
Bodin 7.0 Lines 6.7 O. Clarke 8.0
Sinclair 6.7
James 6.3 Harrison 6.8
Subs: Gaffney 5.9 Montano 5.0
Crowd 8.6 Ref 3.4 Rochdale 6.0
