Parkin swapped life at big spending Fleetwood for FGR so he's clearly going to be on around £2K a week, meanwhile Taylor's probably on half that? Given Mildenhall etc are probably still on decent money then no wonder we are struggling to sign players.

£4k a week sounds mad for the conference, but looking on line there are various stories that back this up, "Too Exoensive for Wrexham" etc.

It would be great if somebody like Vince Dale bought rovers; somebody with real money, who could actually make things happen. UTG

Well for one Lee Hughes and Jon Parkin are probably on a combined wage of £10,000.
Stuart Sinclair is on £600.

All I can say after watching yesterdays game is,I do not think they are worth the money. Was not impressed with FGR at all, great big lumbering lumps most of them!

(For a pro footballer) It's what Clarke said on the open day. £600 a week, living in a cottage by the river, spends his days off fishing and reading.

Although I'd be bloody annoyed to find out my manager was telling all and sundry how much I earnt. Probably a breach of the data protection act in there somewhere too...
