I don't think anyone can really argue with DCs comments there. Brunty is coming back from a bad injury and hasn't quite looked up to it yet this season.
I still think though that once he builds up his match fitness and sharpness, he can be a very good striker at this level.

Really hope he makes it.A Ryan Brunt goal would be very welcome.In fact a goal from any forward would be welcome!

I'm I missing something but if Brunt, not surprisingly giventhe amount of time he's been out, was off the pace why did it take DC most of pre-season and 3 competitive games to notice?
Sticking him in the stand isn't going to help him get match fit.
