Does this mean we are holding out hope for reinstatement and not planning for the conference?
Is the club review on hold?
Will DC have his hands tied for bringing in new players? Do we really have a big enough chance that he should?
Hearing the football world react to this news it is clear that we have taken a massive blow to our reputation. Is it justified?
How would you feel if we stayed up on a legality?
And finally... Drumroll please ...
If we do get reinstated, would you have Gary Johnson here?

Answers on a postcard.

Rovers BoD, management, coaching staff, existing and new players should be preparing to win the Conference. End of. The review must still happen and should not mention/consider any legal challenges. New players should already have been identified and approached, with contracts negotiated based on playing in the conference. Maybe add a clause or two about remaining in League Two instead. One press release yesterday screwed our reputation. I'd be happy for the club to STFU and GBTW on this issue, keep it all private from now on. Happy and no.

The club are not stalling any preparations. They've just had a go at it but will let the lawyers handle that. All systems go.

After a good night's sleep and a little time to reflect I do not feel at all comfortable about the club's action. I would much prefer for us to prepare for life in the Conference with our "eyes clearly on the ball".
Then there is the thought if the positions had been reversed would Wycombe have taken action against us? Perhaps a Wycombe fan would like to answer that one.

After a poor nights sleep (non-Rovers' related) I am happy with the club's action but feel they've got the media/PR side of it badly wrong...any other club would have probably done the same, but wouldn't look like whiny little brats so early in the legal process...

The problem we have as fans is that we failed badly to prepare for the last few pre seasons and we all want to see the squad put in place asap. We are all fearing a lack of news on the player front and getting our squad sorted with no time to gel. The Wycombe issue should not effect anything. Build a squad to storm the conference and if we get a miracle reprieve keep the money back from a january boost in league 2.
I wish we knew what was going on behind the scenes, who we were approaching, emerging talent or quality lower league players. I have no doubt we will start next year in the conference and we should put everything we have into getting a decent squad in place for the start of pre season and let the lawyers worry about the rest.

The thing is we are going into this with the words of an unhappy agent. We have no evidence of our own yet. If Wycombe disclose the paperwork and we (our legal team) find nothing then what. That would make our heavy handed public approach even more embarrassing.
I hope Mr Smith has plenty to back up his claims

Well now, we all hate the club at the moment, now everyone else does too!
You couldn't make it up.
Are we going to go to court and say, "we were sh** m'lord, but only 3rd from bottom sh**"
If the board think this will make it all ok then they are nuts.
Fact is we should never have been in a position that this made any difference in the first place.

Are we going to go to court and say, "we were s*** m'lord, but only 3rd from bottom s***" If the board think this will make it all ok then they are nuts. Fact is we should never have been in a position that this made any difference in the first place. This is for the money, which we may have a case for. Don't panic, the board do not think we will stay a football league club. That argument will just give us the best chance of being paid compensation.

So we've damaged our rep for a few quid - even worse. What can Wycombe afford to pay? A fiver a month? I was outraged when Tan threatened to take Palace to court over 'leaked' teamsheet but this is just as bad. A shameless BoD and an agent with an axe to grind

I wish I trusted the board enough to assume it is about the money...the trouble is, I suspect in their heads 'success' is home and away against Burton, Mansfield and Newport AFC next season...

Are you in contact with a director to quote the stuff you have as fact ?

I just hope the board will not be looking at reinstatement here & carry on with rebuilding. My worry is this will again stall EVERYTHING. I believe they had to pursue this but not in the public domain
