Im a massive sinclair fan but i thought the ref got it right with the 2 yellow cards for him,he dived both times in my view. On the flip side their penalty looked like a blatant dive as well!

Agree, not Sinclair's best night. Seemed to lose control of the ball for the second and then threw himself to the floor. Can't do that when already booked, especially when that was for diving as well.
That said, their penalty was the worst of the lot. The lad just launched himself as soon as he realised he was in the box!
Just one of those nights when everything seemed to go against us. Feel for those that travelled and could do without another suspension but we move on to Saturday.

Looked like dives from Sinclair to me, at least their blokes legs slipped out from under him which made it look more real, almost looked like he slipped accidentally and was just happy to take the decision

I don't agree with this, never a yellow card for the 1st one. 2nd incident Sincs was a bit naive but was that really a yellow again? If the refs booked everyone for stuff like this there would be lots of games abandoned because there wouldn't be any players left on the pitch! The penalty shouldn't have be given another soft / crap / wanky decision! Another game ruined by incompetent officials.

So the ref has seen those as dives but said that their player was fouled for the penalty? What a joke.

I can't tell if either were dives or not from that footage.

The ref should have used some common sense with sinclair and told him to be careful not to get in a situation like that again as he would be off. Ruined the game. Thought we would be strong enough at the back to see it out though with 10, Bury didn't look great in the First half

1st booking and the penalty identical incidents so why wasn't their player booked?

We all know that some refs rule with the card and have absolutely no common sense. I've always been of the opinion that refs in league one are either failed Championship and Premiership ones, or those that haven't made the grade yet.
Onto the next game

I've watched the replays about 4 times each and Sinclair is on the way to ground before the player is in any contactable area. 2 dives and 2 deserved cards I'm afraid. Deserved everything we got for trying to con the ref that badly and in positions of the field that were no real threat as well.
I can't stand simulation of any kind and the quicker all refs stamp down hard on it the better. If all refs had the same approach then we wouldn't see it to the extent we do today.

Wow! Who'd have thought that Stuart Sinclairs integrity would be questioned?
Ref has had a mare.

I can't tell if either were dives or not from that footage. Yeah, I genuinely can't tell for any of them, but of the three, the one that looks most like no contact was made was the pen.

OMG
To be fair I can't tell if they were dives or not from Sinclair (all I will say is he is prone to going over quite easy and winning free kicks etc)
That being said...the penalty! Jesus what is that! That is the way more blatant than either of Sinclair's "dives", what a lady garden.

Except twenty minutes later he rewards a dive with a penalty. I expect he thought to himself, well, now I've completely eradicated diving form the sport of football single handedly, anyone who falls over from now on, must be genuine.

One plus of the result is Swindle town in big big trouble. Is Colkett still there?
