A fit fury would wreck Joshua , long live the gypsy king ! Fury is a f**k wit twat. But fit he would definitely give Joshua a good fight just as Klitchco has tonight. But AJ won tonight and I think he'd beat the gypsy too.

Fury messed around with klitschko and had the fight won before they entered the ring and he never looked like getting beat , Joshua got opened up way too many times tonight by an old man ( in terms of boxing ) . Fury for me every time. Fury is the best thing to happen to British boxing in that division , but he sure does split opinion!

It's often fine lines in boxing, one mistake and you can walk in to a heavy punch and it doesn't matter if your up on points , the favourite or trained better than your opponent it can all be over. I think they both gave it everything tonight and it was a classic after the first 2-3 rounds. I was impressed with the way AJ showed experience beyond his years to win it late on, something he hasn't done before. I think he's right he is going to get better.

I hope so mate , I agree with your comments about the fight as well , my only worry with AJ is that he does leave himself exposed at times and a fit fury would exploit that and knock him out. ( but not in his current state ) as his physique right now resembles mine !!!! Always good chatting to you Socrates 😀

The difference with last nights fight was klit threw some bombs,aj should be a lot fitter than he is at his age it should of been all over in round 5 after he knocked him down he was burnt out Remember the great mike Tyson at aj's age he would've been all over him like a cheap suite after he got up and finished him off FairPlay to aj I thought there was no chance of doing what he did he managed to rest a few rounds and blitz him, that uppercut done the damage what a 🍑 peach The gippo is good entertainment and his interviews make me water myself, would be a great fight but could he take a aj bomb?

That 5th round was probably one of the best rounds of boxing I've seen.

Would be a great fight wouldn't it ! I don't think AJ would be able to land many of his big hits as fury has excellent feet. You can't hurt what you can't hit. But yes that uppercut was an absolute gem. Really happy he beat klitchsko as I had my doubts.

Have a look at Forbes, that fight broke all records. If I remember correctly it was circa $30 to view the fight in the states. The Garden arena hold about 20k and there were seats going for 300 dollars if you were smart enough. 90k at Wembley last night paying similar money for a space and broadcast to 140 countries! Last night was also PPV at £20 so to me although £10m is hefty, there is lots of ££££ someplace else!

Last nights fight came nowhere near the Mayweather fight numbers, that's where most of the $300M came from.

The fight was free on the states on both Hbo and Showtime not ppv. It was £19.95 on sky but the mayweather fight was $89 or $99 in HD and to watch it in Vegas in the cinemas in the mgm grand was $150 a ticket. That's how he made the money on that fight.

It all comes down to Hearn's business model! It's why Eubank is no longer with him, Eubank Snr tried to raise the ticket prices, Hearn said no, it's not his business model, and that was that!
Now Eubank is on ITV Box Office fighting for a belt that's totally worthless, and AJ is packing out Wembley in front of 90,000 people!
If you can't live off £10m (I bet he earned more) you have serious issues!

Ah, I didn't realise it was free to watch in the US. I was there for the Mayweather Pac fight and paid somewhat more than $150 to watch it on big screen. You couldn't get near MGM that weekend, $2000 to watch it in the MGM bars and restaurants. I had my pants down if someone got in their for 150!

Come on GAZ, it's a topic not a cock off.

No one really talking about Joshua as a boxer, focus is pretty much about how much can be exploited from his 'brand'.
Sad really.
