Am I the only one that finds boxing boring by the way? It was maybe a good sport a long time ago but not a lot happens these days.

Not wanting to ruffle feathers but shouldn't this thread have been moved to the general sport chat? Couldn't find it this morning. Should it be moved again? Just saying like

Bah! In that case, I take back my last comment! I actually agree with you 2nd, other parts of the forum aren't used enough hence posting in this section. Also hence why I get annoyed when I post something say about City or maybe England football that might get moved. If they are going to do that though then at least be consistent about it. Hugo has moved it now so fair play but took a while, a boxing match is far less Rovers related than anything I have put in the main section. " a boxing match is far less Rovers related than anything I have put in the main section." What like the countless City threads you've put in?

Are you thick?

I think there hasn't been a better time to be a British boxing fan since the early 90s. Not just because of AJ either. Tons of exciting fighters with great potential at all weights.

Am I the only one that finds boxing boring by the way? It was maybe a good sport a long time ago but not a lot happens these days. With Joshua and Fury, British interest has picked up a lot and it's quite exciting again. But still a pale imitation of the Ali/Frazier/Foreman era and the Tyson spell. The American press seem to ignore boxing these days since they have no world class heavyweights. I checked the American press like the New York Times and Boston Globe to see what their reaction to his win was. I couldn't even find a report.

Good tactical fight by AJ won the first 4 rounds with the jab and didn’t need to kill Parker off, a different kind of fight than he’s used to Parker wasn’t there for the taking but it showed maturity to keep a distance keep winning the rounds and see it through. Hopefully Fury will sort his head and body out and come out of retirement because that could be one hell of a fight. UTJ Furys head is well and truly sorted but the Hearns want no part of Fury as they know deep down he schools their cash cow.....The Hearns are only interested in fleecing the casuals WDKSAB and have latched on to Joshua as if he is some kind of humble hero when he is anything but.The casuals will lap up a rematch with the limited pudding Dillian Whyte and flock to Wembley in their thousands as they are gullible mugs. I have said for years that Fury is special and is without doubt the best "British" heavyweight in my lifetime and I am 49.His footwork and skill set is a level above any heavyweight out there and most of the heavyweights of the last 20/30 years.

I’d certainly be interested to see Joshua fight Fury or Wilder. Anyone else I think he will definitely beat but those two I’d say 50/50

Wilder/ Joshua is tough to call but I would favour Wilder but only just.Fury got close to Wilder and hit him but he was throwing double jabs and feints to get close.....Joshua isn't capable of producing double jabs and is very robotic and stiff he doesn't throw feints either.
Joshua Fury I see as a 90/10 in favour of Fury.I give Joshua 10 as he does have power and goes in with that punchers chance and in heavyweight boxing anything can happen...If you compare the skill sets of both Fury is a level above Joshua and I think he would make him look daft.Would love to see it happen but cannot see the Hearns risking Joshuas 0..Furys stock is high now and he is box office here and in America...Joshua is still relatively unknown in the states as he is a stay at home fighter.
