6. I'm personally quite happy to stay bobbing along at this level if it's a choice between that and becoming like Coventry. I like that the Mem is near the Glos Rd pubs and in the city, which we'll obviously lose with UWE. That's my opinion and you don't have to like it but there it is.
I do want UWE to happen however as I believe that the average age of our fanbase will come to a head at some point in the next few decades and we'll lose vast swathes of folk who can't stomach standing in the cold any longer, really that's the main reason I hope we get it sorted. I'm 26 so I'm delighted to stand on the Blackthorn and go mental for every goal but have a friend in his 70s who stands on the East Terrace 15-20 games a season and although he's fine now, it'd be a shame if he had to knock it on the head in a few years because something goes.
Also being able to access the bar at half time would be nice.

10 for a new ground BUT only if it's the right deal for the club. In my opinion the original deal with UWE was an awful deal for the club and I think much of the delay is due to us renegotiating our way out of it while still keeping the site/building alive as a viable option.
0 for UWE. I'm not arsed where its built or what it's called.

Unless we can find another site and build or somehow upgrade the Mem to 25,000 it means the difference between reaching our potential and being a premiership club, or having the Mem in its shambloic state it is and running the risk of having repeats of what has happened to BRFC over the past 21 years. For me it's a 10 out of 10 as thats what our clubs needs. Premiership. Easy tiger.

Like many others, 10 for a new stadium, not bothered where, just that it's done right.

1ST CHOICE. New stadium with enough space to develop to a potential 80,000 should ever be required [unlikely but why limit oneself} 2ND CHOICE. UWE 3RD CHOICE. Similar size stadium to uwe but elsewhere in Bristol. 4TH CHOICE. Redevelope mem to include enough non matchday income and higher value seating/boxes. Which would probably mean a 8000 stadium on the site with more space made available for other things.
so uwe 7 out of ten

Always disliked the UWE site. No pubs, bowl type stadium. The mem is home to me now. It's ok to say we need a new ground for revenue but we also need the place to be pretty full and we are already having moaning afterva very good first season back at our historical level

Has to be a new stadium for me. I can remember some really crap grounds Elm Park, The Vetch with crap teams but where are they now? At my time of life can't really afford the wait for new planning etc - for me UWE but I'm not convinced the whole match day experience with no pubs etc will be better. The closest pubs are probably The Foxes Den, The Beaufort & The George. Not sure if there is a route through from Lockleaze - so has to be a 10.

Gets a ten from Len, but no decent pubs in walking distance is a downside.

How about a new stadium opposite in the playing fields? Then turn the Mem site into a smaller playing field with some car parking for matchdays or a coachpark.
This way we can stay in BS7 and build a purpose built new stadium.

Gets a ten from Len, but no decent pubs in walking distance is a downside. Could be good business for the club with a concourse of bars & food outlets.
