True Rovers fan, lovely to see in a world of political opportunists.
She'll be sad today but I look forward to seeing her at the season opener in August. Chin up.

Charlotte was a great help to us in Henbury & Westbury when it came to sorting out the Business rates issues and a great campaigner for the Henbury Loop line.
Bet this upstart from London will not get involved as much
Made me laugh when he said i will move back to Bristol now i'm your MP... Tosser

to be honest she helped get the lamplighters in Shirehampton reopened which happens to be her local (so congratulations for that), but did nothing much more....
not really much of a legacy....

Agree 100% in what you say, but people are putting Charlotte down and they know F##k all about her and what she has done for Bristol Funnily enough, I don't agree with what I said. I was being sarcastic, in regard to all the people who say stuff like that to shut down discussion. If you want to whine about/discuss/whatever it, go for it. It's actually pretty difficult to know what local MPs do locally unless you come into direct contact with them/their actions. Most MPs bullshit about how much they do for their constituencies. And our local press is now completely sh**e. So the only way to know, really, is when you come into contact with it, in real life.

I am with Henbury Gas on this one. Whilst she was our MP I knew more about local issues because she brought them out in the open. For those who are campaigning for better transport system for Bristol North West they have lost a strong advocate.
Cant see much hope of her work being carried on by the new encumbant.

I love the way the tory voters claim to know 'oh so much more' about politics and political systems than non-tory voters....
quite amusing really

I was pleased with the local election result because the party i voted for won the seat. What i would say about charlotte leslie is that i twice saw her at my local football club shirehampton fc and i even had a conversation with her about the football club. In other words although i despise her political views i was impressed to see a local MP visiting the club and taking the time to meet and talk with its members.

I've never met her, so I've no axe to swing or grind, however, she did live in the area. The new MP has been parachuted in, and probably doesn't give a toss about Bristol.
