Not sure about that, adding the cost after the event is totally crap, but plenty on here and on SM are saying that it causes issues if they forget their phone, leave it in the car, drop it down the toilet or just don't want to use it, and then say 'what am I supposed to do'? So you agree that it’s crap to add the fee after the event, ergo you agree with my point that the problem is how the club has gone about it? Yep, but I was referring more to your comment that people are happy with the premise of having to go 'digital'.

In my case it's a matter of losing things - I'm far less likely to misplace my phone, a plastic card, that's a different matter. Funny though that one of the constant themes on here is about the club not modernising and moving with the times, yet when they do... I don’t think people have issue with the premise, it’s how the club has gone about it. I dont think Michael O’Leary would be as cloak and daggered about this. Not sure about that, adding the cost after the event is totally crap, but plenty on here and on SM are saying that it causes issues if they forget their phone, leave it in the car, drop it down the toilet or just don't want to use it, and then say 'what am I supposed to do'?

I'm not looking to over complicate the matter as I don't think this will effect a huge number of individuals. Most now have smartphones. I accept some children and older individuals (in the main) won't. For families, it's easy enough to create a new email address to associate with the child's ticket which the adult can access. That way all the season tickets can be saved to the adult's digital wallet. It works, I've done it. If you genuinely don't have a suitable phone, then the club should take you at your word and issue a free card. There can't be many who have a phone who also want a card. Some are not tied to their phones and leave them at home and prefer the card option when attending That's fine, I believe it's been mentioned that plastic cards can be purchased if you choose not to use the standard method of entry!

I don’t know why they don’t go the whole hog , and start charging disabled people or women more for a season ticket, why just pick on elderly and people who don’t own a mobile phone. Seems like another own goal from the club the latest in a long list We have a winner for best 'Hand wringing' post of the thread.

I think this is to stop people giving/selling their ST to others when they can't attend games. Or just the fact it's 2024 as I couldn't even tell you the last time I had a 'physical' ticket for anything, gigs, flights etc etc.

Adult Earlybird - Thatchers End - 2018/19 - £275.00 [+£15.00 - 5.77% Increase] Adult Earlybird - Thatchers End - 2019/20 - £285.00 [+£10.00 - 3.64% Increase] Adult Earlybird - Thatchers End - 2020/21 - £285.00 [Price Freeze] Adult Earlybird - Thatchers End - 2021/22 - £285.00 [Price Freeze] Adult Earlybird - Thatchers End - 2022/23 - £315.00 [+£30.00 - 10.53% Increase] Adult Earlybird - Thatchers End - 2023/24 - £315.00 [Price Freeze] Adult Earlybird - Thatchers End - 2024/25 - £359.00 [+£44.00 - 13.97 Increase] £84.00 / 30.55% since 2019! A little addition to this, if Season Ticket prices rose with inflation they'd be £340.00. So averaged out, £14 a season increase???

I've got no problem with this route. If you don't want to use a digital ticket, you pay for one......simple. On top of £500? Yep. My only caveat would be that this should have been communicated earlier that it will be digital only, unless you pay an additional fee for a physical card.

Hope Rossiter coming off was precautionary. He went into a strong challenge a minute or two earlier and looked a little bit uncomfortable afterwards. He looked class whilst he was on the pitch, as he did on Saturday. I think we’re just managing his time to 50 mins right now. Was very similar to Saturday Commentators were surprised he came out for the 2nd half as they believed he was only due to play the first 45mins.

Notice you have been staying silent about the ****** *** job monotone Matt is doing, now he is a loser, no wins in 6 six games, no goals in six games, and the team he built this season has already been relegated back to division 1, the "king is dead long live the king"; wasn't it you big boy who said you would tell Joey what you though about him to his face, how's that going, hahaha thought not. Frankly That response pathetic and not becoming of a mature man (or woman) To give him some credit, he managed to post without saying ‘woke’ or ‘snowflake’ so can only assume the brain cell count has doubled to two this week!

Gonna put TV's up and bars in. There is only one set toip box, so everyone will be watching the same channel! (someone sell the clubs a bunch of these Firestick things that the young uns use) Knowing the club though, what is the definition of a bar? There is a cart that comes out at the front of the Clubhouse bar in summer. Knowing Rovers, the'll put that into the concourse and call it a bar! Personally I don’t go to Rovers to watch tv, let alone care whether there is more than one channel! I don't go 'Corporate' very often either, so may as well bin that as I'll never use it..........

This was a post meeting question I asked TG last night I had been asked by two people to pose. "Why is there no financing on season tickets available?" TG said - Most of the smaller clubs use the same finance company & they had pulled there support for all the smaller clubs but were still trading with the bigger clubs. This had caught the Rovers by surprise as it wasn't expected! He did'nt expect to be able to get anything in place in the short term! To offer finance you have to be FCA regulated. An outside company can be employed to do that for you but they may have to be some kind of corporate partner and be vetted by the EFL or they may have looked at the numbers from their end and decided it wasnt worth their while. It would be interesting to know how many bought on finance last year and what the finance companies kick back was from the club. From memory, I think £15/20 was added to the price of the ST.

I heard his earlier interview thanks and interpreted it the same way as most normal people. He was struggling to get players on the training pitch because there were so many injuries and knocks being picked up. You are the only person who's chosen to put this weird spin and logic to it and create this myth about players going truant. Do you not think social media and local news outlets wouldn’t be all over a genuine story of players bunking off? His views on player work rate after Saturdays game was a different matter to your fake news about players going on strike from training. That's Topper or you - heads what he wants and changes his mind every other sentence. Ha, bang on. Reading Toppers posts, I always picture he's the bloke from the Fast Show who's in the pub and likes to think he makes a good point, and then someone challenges it so he changes his mind, then changes it again when someone else say something, and ends up totally confused, and doesn't have a clue what he's even talking about!

Anything you enjoy about following the gas? This isnt a "go and support the city" post, but if i was a permanently annoyed as many appear to be on here i think id have a break. UTG, the sun is shining and reckon we are gonna win the next 3 Not that is is any of your business, but I will be having a break. Given my Exeter tickets to a friend and as the club have thrown away this season, I'll be saving my money for next season too, just like the club. Non-League groundhopping and ifollow for the rest of the season for me. 👍🏻 Don't forget to flounce out the door and make a big scene whilst shouting 'I'm leaving'.....and check to see if anyone notices (or cares) Absolutely hilarious some of the comments on this and other threads, with grown men 'crying' over the fact that like most teams, and most seasons, the matches in the back half of the season just end up as 'dead rubbers'.

Think you’ll find he got the Fanzone off the ground, then improved it, and after he left, it went to sh** and all the prices went up. Fair enough he got the fanzone up and running. As regards the prices, they were over the top from the start and the rest of the catering including the pies and pasty’s has gone downhill ever since in his tenure as has the hospitality food which has increased its prices out of all proportion and this was in his tenure. Prices were ok as far as I remember, for punters and those who had a ‘pitch’, unless you’re one of those crying over paying £5 a pint.

I'd take our league position over there's at the moment! Mr Patterson our previous head of catering, did nothing to improve it in his tenure. In fact from what I remember it went downhill despite big price increases and now he is having the cheek to slag off the club at every opportunity. I hope he enjoys his position at FGR, hardly a place of catering excellence. Think you’ll find he got the Fanzone off the ground, then improved it, and after he left, it went to sh** and all the prices went up.

It's hardly their fault as even if they hadn't bought up to a dozen probably somebody else would have bought them individually or in pairs, once news spread on social media it was a free for all. If they have all been sold then it's down to the club. Maybe it's my moral code conflicting then. I just don't think it's right to take the mickey out of fellow Rovers supporters. You're ok with that, which is your perogative. Over and effing out.🏴☠️ I think this is one of the most stupidest things I have ever read on here, and there’s some stiff competition!! ‘Please don’t buy a ticket until I’ve got mine and given the go ahead for others to now get one’. 😂

Ahh one of the original crywanking wankstains (your words), in fairness, you did have the shakes over Joeys appointment, glad you now appear to be better. Let's hope Tisdale 2 can play a tune out of Joeys squad, unfortunately not a great start, hoping for a better result tomorrow. It makes me laugh how haters think its okay to call posters names, and then claim to be so virtuous and that they are so over Joey getting Rovers promoted and having built the best squad of players since the Holloway / Reece team. Is this a parody account or serious? Most things are ‘woke’ to this cretin, so no surprise he’s right up Barton’s arse.
