How would the club make money out of a stadium in the middle of a massive industrial estate? Non-matchday revenue is probably the most important aspect of a new stadium but I can't see there being much interest in something like a hotel, gym, supermarket etc. Not to mention the public transport links which are pretty much non-existent.

Get a Southeastern train from Charing Cross/London Bridge or Cannon Street to Charlton Station, runs every 30 minutes. Use a contactless card on the Oyster card reader at the ticket barrier and it's £2.60 each way.

Support isn't the big factor, it's a question of finance and being well run. There are teams in the football league with very small catchment areas and fan bases. What happened to Rushden & Diamonds they were a weird lot, are they still going or did they go pop? Went out of business in 2011 after the Conference kicked them out. The phoenix club AFC Rushden & Diamonds play in the Northern Premier League Division One South at the Dog & Duck in Wellingborough.

Like many others, 10 for a new stadium, not bothered where, just that it's done right.

This has got nothing to do with they playing budget or UWE just a bit of long overdue Maintenance Have you seen our sprinkler system bloody embarrassing I bet the away fans have a good chuckle at that when we wheel out 1960s tech on to the pitch !!! A sprinkler system is not going to get us in the Championship. Let's blow it on some cheerleaders.I hope they're older than the last ones.

What on earth is everyone going on about??? get real chaps/lasses £100,000 or so makes no imprint into the £40,000,000 to £50,000,000 that is needed for UWE Let us be thankful that despite no chance of increasing the capacity Steve and Wael recognise that we should be as comfortable and the players as happy as possible in our current surroundings The thing is if it weren't for third party conversations with, and tweets from, the owner being passed on and repeated on here, anyone would think the UWE had been binned months or years ago. There have been regular posts on the OS about tarting up the Mem, yet none about UWE progress. Christ, it didn't even make it into the Chairman's end of year statement. The negativity and impatience of fans is entirely down to the club's lack of communication. We've gone from literally the worse board of directors in the club's history and yet still people moan that the new owners don't keep them informed on every little aspect on a massive project they have zero financial commitment to. We've been told August is when we'll know either way, why do people expect to know before then? In terms of the pitch improvements, do people seriously think that Darrell Clarke and his staff didn't have any say on it? Perhaps all involved determined that investing £100k+ now in the hope of even a marginal gain towards promotion is better than waiting a minimum of two years to move to any potential new stadium.

The UWE site would make a great concert venue. Exactly what Pantsdown wanted on his dog walking Arena. I don't think he was bothered about building an arena at all. More of a ploy to try and gain extra support for their failing stadium plans. Bit like the "A City United" advertising that conveniently used a lot of blue text.

Leave them to it. Like many Sh1!heads, Colony Capers is obviously finding it difficult to accept that "Rag assed Rovers" are fast becoming a threat to his beloved team.

There's a casino at the stadium, can imagine there'll be plenty in there.

This again? Put your pitchforks away people, Ellis seemingly went out for lunch with a mate, what's the problem? As has been said multiple time, it was the slimy one who posted the picture, so how's Ellis "trolling" Rovers fans exactly? Pretty sure I've seen a screengrab suggesting Bodin and Leadbitter had liked one of his pictures. Maybe we should ship them out too?

I'll bet you a tenner that Darrell Clarke will be our manager on the first game of next season.

Whites Hotel? I'm there too. Seemed a better option that having to get a rail replacement bus back to Manchester after the game.

Istr we agreed a one-year extension to our deal at the Lawns, so the first team won't be moving for at least 18 months yet unless anything has changed in that regard. I think I read somewhere during the planning phase that the site wouldn't be open to the public and that reserve matches played at the site would also be close to the public (or that we couldn't charge an entrance fee, something like that).

We are lacking player who can lead, coach and organise on the pitch. We don't have generals out there. Manse? This. I firmly believe we wouldn't be shipping some of the goals we are with Mansell on the pitch.

Now the full game is out, has there been any improvements for BRFC? Not so much of an attraction for me if we are still skint and our better players aren't any good in the game. You can download an editor for 3 quid and easily change anything you like. It's a great game worth the money. That's the in-game editor. You can download an editor for free but it only affects games before they've started.
