FFS why can we not have all blue seats. Disgrace It’s obviously a statement of diversity for the new “inclusive” stand. 😂

Does it really do anyone any good by raking over the past like this especially when the facts are somewhat blurred? All this is ancient history; water under the bridge. Yes it was a sorry time but surely we’ve moved on to a better place now. I’m sure good ol’ Bishop Curry would tell us to let go of the bitterness, embrace the 2018/19 season and surely we will find salvation on the hallowed turf of Wembley in the playoffs (or possibly automatic promotion with some divine intervention). 🙏

If Tampa Bay is anywhere near Wichita then maybe he could become a linesman....oops, wrong Campbell. 😂

It will definitely exist. I have been approached about sponsoring it. The Gaschat Shack has a nice ring to it! 😂

There should be a separate section for day trippers! (Although I was technically one of those two years ago!) I did wonder about “Wembley_Gas” on here and whether that is their place of abode, or if Wembley is the only venue that they deign to watch the mighty Gas. 😉

Unless a country has at least three truly world class players who would dominate every game, around which they can build any old team, I always think the best hope at national level is to play the spine, or at least a strike partnership, from a successful club team and supplement them with in form players regardless of experience or reputation. No matter how much time is spent on international duty, it cannot possibly equate to the day to day experience at club level where players develop a deeper understanding of their other team mates’ game. How many times this season have you seen Ali or Kane preempting where the other one is about to run and putting the ball into that space, without hesitation, which gains them that split second advantage over the defenders.
I also think that England have been too loyal to established names in the past and played them when they were out of form or carrying little injuries, just because they had experience, which allowed them to become slightly complacent and consequently underperform. I would choose players who are in form and can take that momentum beyond the end of the domestic season and into the summer. For that reason I agree with others on here that Ryan Sessegnon would have been on my list. We took a chance on a young Michael Owen one time and that didn’t work out too badly did it! 🏴

Oh no it’s The Curse of the Wael Rabbit! But don’t worry, a visit to the Mem is a Grand Day Out, after all, we are The Pirates, a Band of Misfits. ☠️
(NB: Apologies for the Americanism but it didn’t really work with “In an adventure with scientists”).
Actually, apologies for the whole post. It’s been a long week....💤

Yes but it turns out it's not actually a tent as it will have a metal roof so more of a shed really. Do you think we should ask for the thread title to be changed for the next 20 pages? If it's a crappy tin roof, will they supply ear plugs for when it rains? It'll be like being on the inside of a drum ! It’s a well known psychology technique to encourage louder singing. 😮

There are a few white tents setup on the downs at the moment, maybe Wael has found a new site for the stadium? Are we on a budget pre-season tour?

'The best goal at St James Park this season' Exeter City 2-0 Lincoln City (agg 2-0) What a goal from Hiram Boateng. Everyone was saying ‘pass, pass’ but the former Crystal Palace youngster knew exactly what he was doing as he curled it in off the post. In the context of this game and Exeter’s season, that has to be up there as the best goal of the campaign here at St James Park. Boateng!!!!!!!!!!! Once again, Tisdale has built a good side there. If, god forbid, DC moved on unexpectedly I think ‘Tis would be a good choice for us and he may be tempted by our perceived greater potential. 🤔

Well I’ve been waiting patiently for a whole hour now and there has been absolutely nothing! I just don’t think the new setup are taking this seriously, or haven’t realised that the opening date has moved forward....unless we are focusing on foreign players in which case this thread is two weeks and two days early. 😂

So are we still keeping the Family Enclosure as well as the new stand as it suggests it's "an alternative to" rather than replacing the present family enclosure. I wonder how many seats does it hold/how many standing places will be lost on the North enclosure? Not sure why the club didn't publish an artist impression as to what it should look like when it's built? If anyone can get hold of the plans I could knock-up a quick 3D visual (genuine offer).

Just thankful that when watching the younger England set ups it’s more about tactical moves and passing. Watched the under 17’s the other day they played some great stuff. We've got a very talented generation of players coming through. Callum Hudson-Odoi, Jadon Sancho, Phil Foden, Emile Smith-Rowe, Rhian Brewster, Bobby Duncan, Eddie Nketiah, Reo Griffiths, George McEachran, Marc Guehi, Trevoh Chalobah, Xavier Amaechi, Taylor Richards, Oliver Skipp, Callum Gribbin, Tommy Doyle, Keke Simmonds and Fabio Carvalho all outstanding prospects. Set a reminder to bump this post in 8 years time. It will be interesting to see how many names make the grade and see whether the St George’s Park set up is actually doing the business.

Just a thought but maybe it won’t be a tent..,, ...but a high performance tensile fabric structure! ⛺️

That’s easily explained as LJ is actually a pioneering artificial intelligence bot, but unfortunately is still in the learning stage so hasn’t yet acquired any intelligence and has to rely on pre-programmed phrases to communicate. 🤖

Someone mentioned Olufela Olomola on another thread, a Southampton forward who was on loan at Yeovil and scored 7 in 21 this season. That would fit with the DC modus operandi of getting in someone who is showing potential that he thinks he could develop further. He’s not the tallest at 5’ 7”, but then size isn’t everything....allegedly. 😉

So now is the time for you lot to have a real good whinging post about anything the club and its employees are doing or not doing Feel free to get it all off your gas chest and let the club know just how you feel your are being let down I'm pretty sure our top echelon people within the club read this forum so this would be a good place to start OK what has watered me right off about our owners is the complete lack of ANY communication recently to the Fan Base ! so what has changed from the time they could not get enough Air time when the first moved in ? [br What a joke of a post, when piggy higgs took the club out of the league he went literally unchallenged. What do you want a repeat of history? A chairman blabbing about how well everything is going when nothing materialises? We finally have a group of professional businessmen who are clearly adding value to the club on a consistent basis and have turned a pub team operation under Higgs into a club that is growing in stature and structure in the sustainable way that WAQ said he would operate from day one. We will always have fans who refuse to accept this and continue to stir up for reasons only knkwn to them. Back to the start of the post, what an absolute joke, step outside get some sunshine and get a life FFS. That’s really irresponsible as we all know these days that too much sun can seriously damage your health which can lead to hallucinations and a tendency to want to barbecue everything. I should know as only today Henbury kindly brought me to my senses (see page 4 of Rumours thread). 😂

Doh, reading this thread I’ve finally worked out why everything is hush-hush with regards to the Colony development. I’m betting that DC said to Wael that the passing out from the right back position could be a bit crisper and that’s why we need better facilities to work on the lads. Wael has gone away, typed in Crispr and thought that what DC wants is a gene editing lab so that we can extract the best bits of DNA from JC, Parts and Leads to create the ultimate Premiership ready defender. That explains why each of the boys have been “injured” for some of the season and the “evolution” strap line as we literally have to grow the team. The hold up with planning at the cloning centre, sorry “Colony”, is obviously for the change of use from category D2 to B1. 😊 Have you had to much sun today I see what you are trying to do there, but I’m not going to bite. For incorrect use of the word “to” instead of “too”, please refer to your other thread on whinging. 😂

I get cheesed off when "your" is being used incorrectly instead of "you're" ...and don’t get me started on “their” and “there!” The season has well and truly ended if we are reverting to commenting on SPAG, although it might be useful pointers for those amongst our ranks that are embarking on their GCSEs. 😉
