OK, thanks to Garystash for uploading this page:-
AGM Resolutions
Now if you go to resolution 8 my questions are:-
1 - Are we agreeing to pay Edward Ware £520k PLUS £125k he has already been paid or is it the down payment of £125k and then the balance up to £520k? 2 - If you ask Zoopla for a value of this property, need to supply the full postcode and house number, it suggests that the current market value is £400k
Now, I accept that the £520k will include legal fees incurred, Stamp Duty AND that Edward Ware may have had to pay over the odds to rectify a problem we have created, but we need to know if EW is making a profit on the £520k price yet alone if he is being paid £645k.
I also accept that the owner of the said property must have realised he was siting on a valuable asset and may have increased the sale price accordingly.
As far as I am concerned, if EW is seen to be making a profit out of BRFC and I HAVE NO EVIDENCE OF THAT, I will be objecting to his re-election too the Board.
So many questions. I certainly wouldn't like Ed W to be making an excessive profit out of the club. But if you vote against his reelection who are you voting for to replace him? It would seem from that list of resolutions that there is no-one else and I'd hazard the guess that at least Ed W and Chris J wouldn't lose any sleep over being not reelected. We either see a consortium, I'm not very confident of that happening, & they all go in one fell swoop or we're left with the usual names, either current or past, to fill the boardman

This is my point. If they literally fit 9,000 less seats but everything else is the same then surely you don't need new planning permission? But it's the structure that costs, which will have to be built under the existing pp. South glos want a 20k sports stadium, it's in their local plan, if rovers won't build it they'll find someone else. How are the the other someone else. You are in the know so tell us .....

Spot on, its the same posters doing it on many threads, its tiresome. We all support the same team its a shame we can't all get along. Just because we support the same team doesnt mean we should believe what is said to us. especially when certain posters have form for telling porkies. Yep you've certainly been exposed & proven to be telling porkies & lies.

Really? Official ones? Perhaps you can share your list? Remembrance Day is the day to remember all those who have died in times of conflict, no need whatsoever for an extra day to remember one particular group who died, indeed if you specifically remember one group you are ignoring all those others that died. Personally find Holocaust Memorial Day completely irrelevant & ignore it. Up to you. It is up to me to remember all those who have died in conflicts. It's also up to me to think it's very sad that small minded people, like yourself I guess, choose to only remember certain groups.

Holocaust Memorial Day is a perfect example of racism. Some estimated deaths in WW11: China 15-20 million Dutch East Indies (Indonesia) 3-4 million Soviet Union 27 million Jews 6 million But never forget the suffering of the Jews but it's perfectly acceptable to forget the suffering of other peoples (particularly easy if they were on the other side of the world). Still that peterpirate is an evil person ... Plenty of Memorial Days to remember all that suffered and paid a price for freedom. Really? Official ones? Perhaps you can share your list? Is this the longest most drawn out signing in the history of Bristol Rovers?

No the big question us why DC didn't attempt to move Mildenhall on in May but it's a question people don't want asked of DC. Perhaps he did but Mildenhall was happy to see out the last year of his no doubt lucrative contract, after all Mildenhall must have known when he took up his contract extension last summer he was already likely to be No 2 to Puddy this season? DC obviously gave him a second chance in the summer but he clearly wasn't up to the task. Yep I missed that announcement about him being put on the transfer list.

From what I understand Puddy was meant to be fit for the start of the season, but suffered a setback and had to have surgery that wasn't planned. That didn't leave a lot of time for DC to get in another permanent keeper, plus why would he if Puddy is his number one choice? Surely anybody who follows the forums knows that's the case? Not sure what we'd do with another goalie on the books if Puddy had been fit in October or November as we'd then have 3 fit goalies? The big question now is Puddy's injury just a set back on his road to recovery or will DC have to bring in another goalie, Nicholls?, again in January if Puddy's out for months again. If he does bring in another goalie then that's likely to be one less outfield player DC can afford to bring in January. No the big question us why DC didn't attempt to move Mildenhall on in May but it's a question people don't want asked of DC.

Clarke has a love in with Puddy. And clearly does not want to pick Mildenhall. It will be interesting to see who plays in the next match, because it is blatantly obvious the manager does not want to pick him. This will hurt Clarke. Clarke's interview confirms that Mildy will now get his chance. So we applaud DC for stating the bleedin obvious? The biggest question is why Puddy was told to come back out and play 3 minutes after half time, Likewise Sinclair

Still find it hard to believe Ellis can be considered good enough for the Euro's but can't even hold down a place in a shot shy Div 2 side! Using that logic surely Easter is on the fringe of getting a recall as he's keeping him out of the 1st team? Perhaps all the other Welsh players have refused to carry Bale's kitbag anymore?

If you buy an adults ST you can get a kids ST free through the young pirates. Membership of yp is a tenner. Any season ticket holder can sign up to any 3 kids on the season ticket. Not sure if you have to do this before the season though.

Yeah maybe the minutes silence bit, after that all thought for the past vanishes. I suppose I could attend the service and still make the game. The sad thing is that the WW2 old boys are getting really rare now and we realistically only have a couple of years left to chat to them. Are you a member of your local Association Branch? Quite a few old fellows in there, join them on College Green for the bumble down the Centre. Wear your tie, medals and lid proudly Just seen on evil post website that next year the parade will be at the Memorial Ground and not the cenotaph due to all the work to reconfigure the centre

I had made the last minute decision to go with a friend last night and I thought the experience was poor especially for the £7 they were charging on the door. To begin with I parked my car behind the DriBuild stand which was a luxury in itself. Walked round to the supporters club bar behind the Blackthorn end and was promptly told to walk back round to the DriBuild to buy a ticket then come back. Not too bad I as I turned up before 7 in plenty of time but a sign or two somewhere would have been nice. Upon getting in about 10 past 7 we walked in to the supporters club bar to find about 30 chairs, many with accompanying tables talking up nearly all the floor space. As these were already taken I got a pint although not of the usual Butcombe as they had already ran out and decided to stand in front of the bar between that and the seats as it was the only reasonable space left a good view. It was a bit squashed in come kick off time and the jobsworth organiser decided to have a go at me when I first got there for standing there even though there was nowhere to go and I was soon swamped with other gasheads who he left alone. The match experience was acceptable but not great. the picture quality was good although the sound was fed back and a really low bit rate and the noise from the distortion was ear ringing. This also meant that the croud was hard to hear and any stadium announcements were impossible to work out especially for substitutes which you couldn't tell we're happening if the cameraman decided to look at one of their players on the pitch or the ball boy near the dug outs which he seemed to take a liking to! Some simple on screen graphics would have sorted that out. The camera was often too far zoomed in and at both ends there was posts blocking views in the corners. There was no replays either so the feed was far from television standard. The atmosphere was flat as a pancake in the first half which went with the performance but there was a good buzz going round in the second especially when the winner went in. Overall I felt that it was a good night but it really wasn't worth the £7 to get in. I'd spent the first half wishing I was at home with the radio on and a glass of something strong to take the edge of the nerves! I wouldn't pay more than £2 or £3 to get in next time if i decided to although I probably wouldn't. I went to the Hartlepool beamback in 2007 and that was a far better experience with a big screen in front of the Blackthorn end with commentary. Thanks for the post, as I said before the game £5 was OK , £7 a bit of a rip off, particularly with no commentary. Not sure why the club can't organise things better at the Mem, what that saying about a "couldn't organise a p....." but can't see they can do much about the video quality. The water up was superbly organised in the boxes. Well done to the club.

He's (Hunt) has his good points though. He sponged a living for a couple of seasons courtesy of them down the road at 8k a week and hardly kicked a ball. I thought he was quite a good fellow when I got him to stand up in the clubhouse after an end of season game against Accrington and sing 'we hate Sh1!heads.... '

Mansfield is East Midlands only a stone throw from outer Birmingham ! The best thing to do with Birmingham is to throw stones at it unless you have a big bomb
