In 2022 he was outstanding and deserved all the plaudits.
In 2023 he has been shocking by his previous outstanding standards.
I am sure it is a mental/confidence/believing the hype issue rather than talent.

Barnsley’s huge win last game could work in our favour. I’ve often seen it with our lot after a great win we put up a poor show in the next game. When we lost 9-0 to Spurs we did not concede a goal in the next 2 matches (both at home) our next away trip however........... (5-1 loss at Sunderland) |

Andy Mangan was quoted on Football League World yesterday. Kurturan decision imminent Rovers have also had Teo Kurturan training with the first team squad in recent weeks. Coach Andy Mangan has confirmed that a deal for the player is imminent, with Kurturan set to join the club for the season ahead. He also revealed that youngster Jerry Lawrence is set to go out on loan. “I think a decision is imminent,” said Magan, via Bristol Live. “He's been really, really good. "I don't think he's too far away. "He's someone that we'd love to sign and another one who's really young. “He's in the development stage of his career. Perhaps the new owners have asked why we're sending Lawrence to a non league club whilst signing Teo from another non league club, given that Lawrence was on the bench on Wednesday? Sending Ward out on loan whilst bringing in Hart is equally as baffling. When did we sign him? what position does he play? |

Who is club secretary now. David Sam’s left to be replaced by a work experience kid, who by all accounts didn’t work out, who took over? Nobody has been officially announced, I'm surprised the FA lets us continue without one being appointed. Apparently Louise Smith (Head of HR) is covering the duties. |

Loss trade often cited, but lets say cashless works 95% of the time, the transaction is at least 5 times quicker than cash/change so where there are lots of queues and a short time to serve cashless will ensure more trade overall. There is a reason more and more businesses are doing this. Imagine waiting for change..... apart from rovers where else is cashless in Bristol? If you Google you will find loads, here is one "To make your visit safer and faster, all UWE Bristol hospitality catering outlets, including vending machines, are now cashless." |

Maybe other stadiums have got their act together. More than once the electrics went down at the Mem last season and have a guess what? .......yep! Cash was accepted! Choice..... what's wrong with giving your customer base freedom to choose? Nothing wrong in choice but handling cash costs the club money and it is cheaper for them to go cashless (I am not personally saying it is right or wrong) |

I’m so confused by this view. The form since Christmas has been relegation and that’s undeniable. Since Christmas? How did we stay up then? Gasdust is correct, we only won 19 points in 22 games from Xmas Day, extrapolate across the season and that's about 39/40 points which is relegation form |

I guess heads had to roll after the south stand debacle. Do you think that he was given the whole brief for that then, serious question as i have no idea ? As i see it, many were questioning his ability and history in undertaking such a job when he had little to no experience of anything like it. Fact is none of us will know and i very much doubt that the club will offer any reasons, other than the usual of maybe time, family etc. i know a poster has mentioned clashes with fans, on the socials and that is hardly befitting of a person in such a position and in fact it makes Wael look good in his saying very little, rather than getting embroiled with this kind of thing. I did wonder how long he would last as it seems the club are now pretty darned quick in finding the weak links in the club. Did anyone every get to meet him and, if so, what were the opinions of him, in the flesh as it were ? Hi KP. I met with him a few times and spoke to him several times on the phone. However I would hate to kick a man when he is down. |
