The club are pleased to announce that new season cards, replacement cards and 2022/23 season packs are now on there way to our season ticket holders.
Following a delay in production of the new cards, the first batch have been dispatched today and will continue to go out over the next 48 hours.
• New season ticket holders for this season will receive their new card and a season ticket holder pack.
• Existing season ticket holders who have moved or changed category for this season will receive their new card and a season ticket holder pack.
• Those with existing cards will receive a season ticket holder pack.
Head of Sales, David Bright wanted to say “We are aware of fans frustrations around this matter, we’ve worked hard to secure so many new season tickets holders over the summer and your first experience hasn’t been one we’ve wanted to deliver. We thank you for your patience over this period, and we look forward to delivering an improvement as you continue your journey with us.”
Please note as we cannot guarantee delivery in time for Saturdays match, so for those awaiting new cards, we will once again, be sending e-tickets. If you need a paper ticket, please visit the shop before 4pm on Friday so we can arrange this for you. We once again ask that you check your spam and junk folders for these tickets, before contacting the club.
Due to the way that cards are programmed we can’t issue a paper ticket and activate a season card for a match day.
We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday. #UTG

It was impeccably observed at Portman Rd for the entire minute, apart from a wee bairn* who wanted attention in the far stand that could be heard from where we were because everything else was so silent

Nonsense, the original statement says "EFL fixtures will then recommence on Tuesday 13th September 2022, when Rovers face Ipswich Town at Portman Road."What is not clear about that? That's not an EFL statement, tickets have been taken off sale Just as they normally would for any away fixture

So are we to assume tomorrow's game is going ahead? Dreadful lack of clarity from the EFL Nonsense, the original statement says "EFL fixtures will then recommence on Tuesday 13th September 2022, when Rovers face Ipswich Town at Portman Road."What is not clear about that?

That is the problem when you spend ninety minutes feigning injury. It is impossible to spot a real one. Ain’t that the truth. The boy who cried wolf

Whoop whoop 🙌 ( apart from the 3-0 drubbing on national tv) True, I'd take 3-0 though. Mind you, remember our trip to Wolves in the late 80s? Steve Bull winding up Nigel Martyn on the way back from an England U21s. Wednesday put 6 past us on our last visit (6-2 11th Dec 2010)

As far as I am aware the bigger problem sits with Portsmouth, their fans throwing coins which hit the referee; the other matter concerning a Rovers Supporter relates to a empty plastic bottle being thrown onto the pitch, which while regrettable and wrong, imo would not warrant BRFC being docked points, etc. ... The bottle was not empty when it was thrown but most of the liquid would have spilt out when on the ground

I know this is off message but that referee ruined a day out for 1800 people who had paid good money, for his sheer incompetence and lack of backbone to alter the result of the game. Of course, people shouldn’t react and lose their tempers but the FA might want to understand what brought such an angry reaction, and the reason for that was the FA putting officials in charge who were not properly trained and vetted to handle league 1 professional football games. If the fire department put out a fire, they don’t just drive away. They look to establish why the fire started, who did it and how etc? Therefore they should put the fire out (by all means address the crowd trouble) but they should also perhaps watch the game and the decisions and understand what led to it in the first place. It is simply not good enough to dust your hands down and walk away just blaming it on fans. Poor musicians get pelted if they don’t perform. Politicians get heckled and egged if they don’t perform. The crowd had every right to be angry. It doesn’t justify being violent, but the anger itself was justified and none of this would have happened had the referee not been so weak spirited and incompetent. The fans had spent a lot of time and money to watch a professional football match and they didn’t get what they paid for. They were cheated and got ripped off, essentially. As fans, we pay the wages of those officials. They are not Kings and masters of the universe, so a comment once in a while that they are reviewing the standard of performance of one of their officials would go a long way. The bottle was thrown in the first half just after Pompey scored. No dodgy decisions from the ref at that point which kind of blows a hole in your off message point

Burnley fan that closely follows the U21s here. You've got a very good central defender in Bobby Thomas. He has been considered as a first team player at Burnley since the start of last season, initially by Sean Dyche. The few times he played for the U23s in PL2 last season it was obvious the level was beneath his ability. Started a few friendlies this preseason and scored against Shrewsbury in one of them from a (short) corner. His only senior appearance for Burnley was a start against Millwall in the Carabao Cup, he played alongside Jimmy Dunne (who is now a regular at QPR in the Championship) and looked the better of the two. He's got the qualities of an "old school" centre back with his physicality/aerial ability but is also decent (if not great) on the ball. Also has a long throw on him. Very good attitude, will always give 100%, Dyche would never have promoted him if there were any question marks there. We've got hopes for his future but we also have a lot of central defenders on our books at the moment so it's a move that suits all parties, he definitely needs first team football to continue his development- hopefully you'll see him get better as the season goes on. Thank you very much for the intel - much appreciated I am sure he will go back to you a better player
