Today is the first day of the end of our season
I'm not sure what the team was doing today but the 4037 away fans that made it to the Ricoh deserved better, I can take losing but not to Coventry without at least putting up a cohesive fight
I just cannot fathom how a team mildly different to that at Oxford could be so wildly off the form we showed there
Sweeney was a huge miss today, absolutely huge
Bob nearly poked in a second Og near the end
And I STILL cannot fathom why we must continually suffer Byron Moore on the pitch , we might as well play ten men
Aside from the fact that as a team they had a shocker, indivually they all contributed to this dire day at the Ricoh
I can't pick an outfield MoM but maybe Lumley the goal aside, can come out with a bit of credit as he continues to be generally solid
We've had a great season at home and whilst mathematically we could hit the top six, personally I don't want us to, because until we have real firepower we cannot continually overachieve on spirit and the fans unwavering support, eventually the Gas need to invest in quality and not get rumbled away at sh1t teams , too many points lost to travel sickness
And I was looking forward to the Ricoh but it was very sterile and I'm gutted that Cov have had to resort to a drum to raise an atmosphere
we are Bristol Rovers, we don't need a drum . UTG
Ps well done most of us for sitting in our ALLOCATED seats

I went to Chelsea with my 6 yr old son, in front was a watered up lad ( 20 ish ?) who was obviously coked up as well . Constantly standing up despite my many initial polite requests for him to sit as my lad couldn't see. Eventually I was a little more direct....... It worked but could of easily escalated . He kept telling me " I always stand up" .... Making out I was a part timer etc . I could understand his point of view as I was young once..... But his point of view doesn't come above my sons actually point of view. Totally agree, Oxford was an absolute farce, my son (8) was forced to stand on a seat (which tips ) so he could see as the entire away section stood the whole game we are ST holders and have done about 8 away games also , so hardly part timers just a bit of consideration for the small and the older wouldn't go amiss

Big game tonight for the sh** home to Huddersfield live on sky. The missus is out with the girls tonight so I'm going to watch this I wouldn't normally watch a sh** game but I fancy a few quid on Huddersfield winning 3 - 1. A few tins of Stella watch the game and p**s myself when they lose! I think I'd rather walk naked around Bedminster on a wet and windy Tuesday afternoon with six inch nails hammered through my feet that ever watch the sh1t on tv.....and you could also cellotape a couple of Scorpians to my foreskin as well............Just my opinion. watch it and have a kinky night in

Is playing most of our away games in the yellow kit a disadvantage , we have surrendered to sponsors 1883 club ,who gives a monkeys what's on the away kit , winner of the draw should be on home &away kit , therefore if colours don't clash ,the quarters can be worn far more ,next season away kit colour ,red & white stripes shirts , black shorts, red socks, bravo nastrava . Did you say red? are you off your meds?

For me, DCs inability to accept a point at time is his main problem. When down to 10 we should build on our strong back 4 and look to sneak a win. DC goes all guns blazing (Milwall anyone) and it's just not working at this level. Shame. But, his mentality does win us games when 11 a side. I'd agree totally and whilst I wasn't there and only tuned in after Ht, I question leaving Byron Moore on and having Bodin off DC was singing Bodins praises on sat saying he wasn't afraid of the dirty side of the game, whereas Byron - I don't think he's afraid of it, but he's certainly not good at it - Walsall howler??? anyone it ain't over til the fat chick warbles, let hope sat night she don't start clearing her throat utg

Obviously very disappointing, will have to wait and see the highlights, but sounds like an injustice. However, having suffered a freak result, thankfully, apart from Scunthorpe's late winner ans Southend win, some other good results combine to mean it is still possible, Oxford and Walsall lose and Bradford and Peterborough only get a point, and of course Rochdale lose. + Blackburn draw and Wolves win, 82ers back where they belong, Swindon lose and are seven adrift, and the Dons beat the Cons. I'd swap all that for 1-0 last night !

Let's put this in perspective
I'm no great fan of Ellis and I'd rather he scored one goal in each of four games than four in one then go missing for a month
He's not the best but we have a bit to be grateful for, so we should support him when he's on the pitch which thankfully isn't too often lately
And if we are going to talk about someone being given too many chances I'd opine that the "crimes" of Ellis Harrison pale against someone like Nile Ranger
He's gas. For better or worse, he might yet knock in the goal that gets us in the playoffs ?

Great value in the family stand, £280 for me and the nipper for the season
Amazing value to be fair, I wouldn't complain at an increase

I knew it. A well known fact - Saturday should start with a capital letter. And Saturday's should have an apostrophe to denote possession. Not easy, those exams. Perhaps he'll become our FD in time. Fifth defender? are you saying we are struggling at the back .?

Is it me, or (like most people who play golf on the side) is he a fair weather player lol! Great game Saturday though, and James, thought he played really well for the thankless job he had most of the afternoon, got some spring in those legs doesn't he? Jeez! he is Irish, they don't get fair weather

I got a sneaky feeling we are about to charge again ,the team spirit is undoubted, we have that bit of quality now at the back and gaffney and James look like it could work
Time will tell! Let's get behind em all the way
Whatever it looks like on 30th Apr, great season in L1

Phil brown must feel humiliated after his pre match surmises
He set his team up to kick sh** out of us and after 1 min Billy took all the wind out of his sails
2 subs at 35mins says it all
Not sure it's all about his players, 2nd half they brought it, I think he needs to have a good look in the mirror and think did he take us too lightly initially ?
Unlucky mate, come to the Mem with that mindset at your peril . UTG

In this kind of form could we win the next 4 games, or at least 3 of them? Bury(A) Chesterfield (H) Coventry (A) Shrewsbury (H)? Even our strikers looked capable of making chances/scoring today. I have no doubt we will have a great haul of points in next few games we will hit the top six before march is out , my spider sense is tingling

Top performance
Lumley Manse Gaffers
And fair play to James, barely lost a ball in the air, unlucky to hit the post and not connect with Gaffneys pass near the end
It will happen for him, cannnot fault the work rate, this is what we want , all to play for
9 to go, you never know
