I’m ‘ honoured that uve mentioned me - after a couple of 1 liners agreeing with what somebody else had said - I can see , just skimming over the thread that there are many more ‘ worthy contributors ‘ that would warrant ‘taking a Bow ‘ than myself 😂😂😂💙Utg You either agreed with the sentiment that Barton should be given total control of the club or you didn't. And you did.

This is exactly right and failure to do so is almost always the reason a club ceases to exist - Bury, Darlington, Chester and so many more - the similarities in those stories are all so striking: an owner trying to buy success up the pyramid instead of nurturing and stabilising what they have. I would recommend everyone listen to the podcast Out of Our League available on BBC Sounds and Spotify about the collapse of Bury. Those are 3 small town northern clubs (who all had "dodgy" owners?) what about the likes of Brighton, Cardiff, Reading and City who seem to be doing OK with wealthy law abiding benefactors? Although didn't we try cutting the wage bill and developing youth last season, which ended in relegation. Reynolds was only dodgy in that he was convicted of money laundering later on. That had nothing to do with his time at Darlington. The problem at Darlington was it was run like his own vanity project. Splashing money he would run out of. Ditto Bury - Stewart Day ran it like he was trying to buy his way up the leagues nothing dodgy about him. Steve Dale, while seemingly a dick, was not dodgy. And what was dodgy at Chester? It was pretty much a carbon copy. Wage bill too high, tax unpaid to HMRC failed rescue package and administration. It helps if you know what you're talking about before you disagree with stuff.

This is Bristol reporting that he said to wael if you want me to go I'll leave without compensation, but Wael is fully behind him. Your thoughts? Basically he is saying he is giving up and not good enough. That's a Awlful sign. Wael now is as much to blame for what happens in the future as Barton given not excepting JB offer. Exactly. Chucking the towel in again. Just like last season when we had 8 games left to play.

It was worrying to me how laid back and relaxed that wael seemed to be , he acknowledged today wasn’t good enough but to me , he will be sticking with JB and thinks it will all turn around. I’m just hoping that he’s keeping his real feelings in check and will get rid ! Wael is probably one of the most naive people out there. The way he permitted JB to conduct a reset of staff and players despite his impending assault trial (the first one) still beggars belief.I do really appreciate the support Wael has given this club, but he should just not make any more footballing decisions. He is entirely incompetent. gaschat.co.uk/thread/17718/cutting-cancer-out-club-presserHere are plenty of our fans saying he should be given free reign to "sort the club from top to bottom" back in March when it had already become obvious the bloke is a complete and utter basket case. Purdownpoacher and bridgewatergas take a bow.

Sorry but how can you turn against a bloke who is keeping us afloat? What are the options, hound him out of the club so that we fold? Perhaps wael needs to be an owner and let others run the clubs various aspects. I might be questioning some senior staffs abilities and looking for potential replacements. Fans wont like this...but... Wael needs to stop bailing the club out financially. If we are losing money then the budget has to be cut . That will mean a smaller senior squad with more of the academy players making up the numbers. The club as a whole (including fans) needs to have an honest conversation about who we are and what are our actual needs and expectations. That is a conversation about rovers today not rovers of the 50s and 60s. Not how many fans go to wembley. Not a rovers that might play in the championship some day. Rovers that are a league one league 2 yoyo team. What is needed to make THAT rovers sustainable and stable and hopefully a settled league one team. Decades of super stadium talks to support a championship/premier league team have been pointless and actually harmful to the club. Lets become a good league one team with a good league one stadium. We can worry about anything else if it happens.

Why is it assumed JB hit his wife Senario :- Allegedly Barton/Hill and friends plus wifes get together and hit the wine Lets say Barton and Hill's wifes dont get on Lets assume all are well into the wine Lets say Hill's wife says someting abusive to Bartons wife Barton reacts maybe and pushed her and she fell over Police called but dont want to press charges Lets say Hill's wife dose Back in Bristol allegedly Barton and Hill have a bust up on the training ground Barton tells Hill to leave Three days later we are told Hill has left due to familly reasons All above is written without prejudice and without any factual information It's not assumed he hit his wife. It is alleged by the Crown Prosecution Service that he kicked his wife in the face. They began that prosecution following a police investigation. Which is different to making something up on the internet.

So JB's for us off to our best start, with 13 pts, for 5 season's, that's pretty impressive given the squad rebuilding he undertook in the summer. Post a photo here of a league table which says we currently have 13 points.

Yeah we'll just ask Wimbledon Magistrates court and Sheffield Crown court to re-adjust their packed schedules slightly so we can pick up a few more points. I'm sure the Judiciary will be more than happy to help us. Robbed a jewellery store, murdered someone? Nope sorry, not as important as saving Rovers season, back of the queue you go. Robbery and murder are both indictable only offences meaning they can only be tried in the Crown Court. Magistrates don't have the sentencing powers to deal with such serious offences. Hope this helps.

I find it incredible how he was allowed to relegate us by a section of the fan base. We weren't even in the drop zone when he arrived. This. So much this. Gasheads literally allowed him to relegate us with a smile on their faces because why? Because he's Joey Barton and he gives me a hard on for telling it like it is. What a joke. Not just that - people on here saw him relegate us, applauded it and then said he should be given full control of the club from board level down! The fact I dared to question the logic of that earned me all the names under the sun! "He says it like it is"! No he *ing doesn't. We're sh** and he's not saying it now is he? The whinging scouse prick.

And yet you bother talking about team selection, when the management's is the only opinion that matters? It’s all our fault, us supporters, don’t forget! Thinking about it the problem might have been the bomb in the players asses?

This. Barton relegated us last season!!! He threw the towel in. He's a quitter and a loser. His bewildering press conferences publicly announced he had gave up with plenty of points left and it was not wonder the players then gave up too. Relegation WAS his fault, but so many were happy to absolve him of blame. He's an utter clown. He should have been sacked when he FAILED miserably at his one remit. Do you realise posters have no control over the decisions Wael makes? If Wael decided not to sack Wael in the summer what are we supposed to do, call him a Fool etc all summer on Gaschat and hope Wael listens to us and sacks him before the season starts, or, alternatively, just hope Wael knows what he's doing and JB turned things around. It's a total mystery why somebody who sees to be reasonably educated seems to think fans supporting the club/manager agrees that he's the right choice for the job. The same posters saying JB can do no wrong also feel Wael can do no wrong i.e. LJG even though Wael appointed JB and stood by him in the summer, and unless something is announced in the next 24 hours still seems to be standing by him Wael's trying is best just the f##kers he employs let him down.

Cant see any point in these threads every week. Wael is the only opinion that matters. Me I just pray he will change his formation but stick with a side for a few games rather than change every week. How many goals have we conceded from crosses into the box with all eleven players back? Most of the goals we have conceded. Get rid of Kilgour and play three up front to start with. Get rid of Kilgour? The only decent player in that sh**-show of a back three? Why might that be, Steve? Surely not because he's a young, local player... shock horror!

Because it's a club anthem and completely original instead of copying something from Palace. What relevance is Crystal Palace? If that’s a club anthem then we are finally struggling on every last front. Playing Glad All Over after a win is a tradition we took from Crystal Palace.

Why cant he get the run out music ever on time. It's not that difficult.he can see the players in the tunnel. Today summed it up when he thought grant had been substituted. Really??? We are in crisis, is the music the most relevant issue When you can't keep defending your motte and bailey anymore you have to start looking elsewhere. We've had the radio commentators already so about the only thing left is the match-day announcer.

Everyone knows that if you want something in this life you have to hack reality and manifest it yourself. Exactly, and unfortunately no one joined in, and that's why we lost. All we had to do was recite the charm of making, and not one f**ker even did it. Several million were too scared to sign up to the forum in order to join in. It's your own fault

Why do we still play that dirge Ben Gunstone at full time also? So depressing, win or loss. Because it's a club anthem and completely original instead of copying something from Palace.
