I hope he succeeds on the pitch next season. Otherwise he'll look like a twat... I'm hoping he doesn't sign, don't know anything about him as a player but seems like bit of a knob for this twitter escapade. Come on mate, get over yourself it's only conference football. In saying that though, if he is a great footballer and scores goals I couldn't care less! I'm assuming the signature is for Cheltenham....and if so I hope he fails...only as he's wound up gullible Rovers fans today...

Just tweeted a picture of him signing a contract. Twitter seems to think Cheltenham. I hope he succeeds on the pitch next season. Otherwise he'll look like a twat...

I work in the NHS, I work alone and I get all my work done but I find plenty of time to come on here pretty much hourly from 6.30 in the morning!!! Luckily for me ;-) Should I get a blue and white quarters tattoo, just to make sure you're paying attention if I'm wheeled in in an emergency???

Many of us spend a lot of time "on social media several hours a day"! It does not mean that we are not productive. Better that a young player is on social media or with his computer games than following other excesses imo. Fair point...I do...but I am not a professional footballer. I work in a shop/online retailer and the the people who pay my wages don't care as much about how I do my job, or if it's me that is even doing it...already, as someone who 'buys' into Bristol Rovers I don't want him to be an employee of the club I pay money to...

Smug bastards, I really hope they get a shock, not much chance but you never know. No idea about the fans, but the current board are not 'smug'. I hope they get a shock, but I'd rather natural justice took it's course...

I was referring to his 'public' profile...surely we need 19-21 players who can get their heads down, win games and not be on social media several hours a day?

I knew a Terry Norwood when I lived in Eastbourne who was a roofer and a real character. James refers to his Dad as Tezza so I assume they are one and the same. The Twitter escapade sort of fits with the family trait. So would he be a good signing or not?

He is like the Eden Hazard of non-league. Keeping fans of clubs guessing where he is off to on Twitter! Peter Odemwingie...without the national press caring...?

Admittedly I'm not too familiar with twitter but I am fairly certain that it wasn't Norwood who said that. No it wasn't him who said that. Someone else said it to him and he responded by saying "opinions is rife in football". For what it is worth, I still think he is on a wind up though. Exactly. Do your business in private.

Do we want a player who in public posts that our club is on it's ass? Opposite to everything DC is saying about new signings. Hope he ends up in Aberdeen... Twitter traffic Kris Kerry @kriskerry1 2h @georgemorwood @norwood_20 To leave a club that is on the way up to a club that is on it's ass seems very strange #interestingstuff Do we want a player who in public posts that our club is on it's ass? Just being pedantic once more, but i) not seen any evidence he turned down FL club(s) or that they were chasing him, and ii) he did most of his good work for CHESTER (not FGR last year). As I mentioned above, I hope DC has seen more in him than the statistics suggest... It says he turned down 'interest' from Oxford and Mansfield in the article above. The one the club published? No idea why I completely blanked the claims made in that...

Yea 9 goals and 5 assists in 32 appearances doesn't sound brilliant... He must have something about him though for a couple of decent L2 sides to have been chasing him. I would be surprised to see another striker come in now unless 1 goes. We now have Harrold, Brunt, White and Taylor as well as Gow who can play as a CF. Bring on the wingers now! If one of our strikers had done that well we'd still be in the Football League. He's young and turned down a couple of FL clubs so either we're paying too much again or Darrell is selling the club well to potential players. Just being pedantic once more, but i) not seen any evidence he turned down FL club(s) or that they were chasing him, and ii) he did most of his good work for CHESTER (not FGR last year), and moved to them right when we needed a striker. As I mentioned above, I hope DC has seen more in him than the statistics suggest...

On stats I'd take James Norwood over Matty Taylor, but I have never seen either play. So why if he's 'en-route' are we announcing Matty Taylor first on the OS? If we get both it's great, but if we get Norwood I will quickly forget about Matty Taylor (who let's not forget is not available until July 1st)...

I hope DC saw more from him on the pitch than the stats suggest...
...not a downer on a new signing, just the PR (for obvious reasons) doesn't mention he hasn't scored for Forest Green since Sept 2013...last season six from nine were for Chester (on loan) and when recalled he didn't score for FGR
...I hope DC has had him watched and/or knows him, because on stats alone he's not the signing who will spur us into the top five...
