Hi Gasworkers , Grimsby fan in peace . It sounds like the deal will go through now which will be somewhat of a relief to you all I'm sure . So what sort of player is he ? I have seen every game of ours this season and as a whole you would say he has been good . He's played as the holding midfield player as the pivot of a 3 . His main strengths are tackling ,teamwork and in my mind the one that stands out is the ability to receive the ball in tight areas ; his press resistance is incredible for the lower leagues , normally when a player receives the ball into feet from the centre backs or keeper your thought is 'oh oh ' or at least is for us. But he can receive the ball with 1 or 2 men on him and pretty much NEVER lose . He's very simplistic with his passing and keeps the ball moving -- he will need to be playing in a team that works the ball from the back through otherwise will be wasted . I saw him a few times at Gateshead and he played the right of a three in midfield more box to box which is a job he also did well so it might not be nailed on he plays the more restricted role like he did with us . I think it's a good move for all parties tbh we are not going anywhere this season (hopefully not down ) with a good fee + sell on .Barring injuries I can see him playing Championship minimum in the next couple of years ,so I suppose it depends how you do whether you can keep hold of him . I have been mildly amused with the varying degrees of drama I must admit at times over the last couple of days it's seemed their maybe a nucleur explosion . I will keep reading and interested to see how Kamil does . There is some of what he says that I agree with. Why did Rovers delete that open letter? It looks like it was deleted after 19 May 22. It does mean that the reason for deletion wasn't Brown. Given JB wasn't convicted it became totally irrelevant so no need to leave it up? What I don't get is the OP previously suggested he consider Wael a friend, now he's continually criticising every decision he's made. who needs enemies with friends like.him |

Don't worry he'll wind himself up again soon and then delete his Gaschat account for the 10th time. Two reasons people like Roadman/GasDust delete their account rather than just stop posting for a while is 1. Attention 2. Very difficult to find their abusive/wind up posts of the past. 👍🏾 Back to the thread, I do like Wael and appreciate some of what he’s done for our club, however Chewbacca does have a point. I think people need to remain respectful with the debating of both sides of this argument tho. accept some come on here just to wind others up |

If Grimsby signed him for £200k, they won't want him to leave for the sort of fee Rovers' would normally bid... I would suggest they are looking at around £750k - who knows. Nice to know there is ambition there, though. A few rumours on their forum and X that he might have a release clause of around 250-350k. Could be rubbish but 🤞 don't bring the snake into this |

Possibly loans as we are woefully short in the middle of the park Get Jones and maybe Greenslade involved if possible and see if they could be integrated next season Madness to spend big and panic buy in Jan when clubs are desperate UTG good call, get them back |
