You've not noticed they're considerably better now that Lines isn't taking them, then?

But these posts don't appear after wins.
DC doesn't widgetise differently. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't.

You'll be in the company of younger fans there, so be careful. They can be a bit tearful.

Had to give up (probably) as pupils complained (probably) about him being A Miserable Curmudgeon.

It's not so much the weight of the structure that's the issue, it's holding it down. The wind load / suction uplift on the roof structure will be the governing factor, the poles are a very efficient and cost effective way of tying the front of the roof down, given it is supposed to be a cheap (and temporary 😉) structure I can understand the club not going for cantilevered roofs. The poles will only keep the roof in place they won't stop it blowing over, it's like most things at Rovers apart from senior appointments, all done on the cheap. The only thing we seem to have spent decent money on his the pitch and I'm not sure we'll even benefit from that. Is there anything you're not an expert on?

Excellent, dinsdale. It does my head in that people never 'report back' regarding complaints/moans/suggestions etc. So many are quick to whinge and criticise but never come back to say 'problem solved' or especially...'I was wrong; sorry'

I would think the hold up is due to the fact that the board and Clarke are miles apart. DC wants a quality centre forward but the board want to spend as little as possible. Those two things don’t go hand in hand unless you unearth a gem and even then it takes time for such players to develop. When DC says we will have to see what's left in the budget for a second striker it suggests he has the funds for one striker and he knows what the budget is. We wait to see how much choice one costs before we slag anyone off. "We will wait to see ....... before we slag anyone off" You just don't get it, do you, oldie?
