Incredible how long its taken them to get back to the league. The dropped even further before making their way back up! I remember seeing Rickie Lambert come off the bench to make his Rovers debut up there. I can't bare to imagine that we were possibly a couple of penalty kicks away from still being down there! They were also the team that just lost out when Lambert scored that late winner at Hartlepool to put us in the play-offs. Lot of 'what ifs' in football... Home game against Stockport that season was called off due to unfit pitch. Which allowed extra days rest for the FL cup semi against the sheeds. Rovers won the rearranged fixture with what looked like an offside goal from Stuart Nicholson. |

I renewed season ticket online, no email. Bought two new ones at club shop, no receipt and no email. Assured this is normal!

Overall I get the Cobblers sentiment. But they are going disrespectfully far with it. For instance- there bemoaning a keeper that saved 1/2 the shots on target. Saying he looked sh**, actually the lad had an alright game. By contrast it looks like the Barnet keeper saved nowt. 4 shots on target and 3 goals? There were a couple of duffers. But until half time they were in the mood to spoil the party. Dribbling the ball away for freekicks and the keeper almost got booked for time-wasting. They wanted to wreck it. We just knew 7 might be enough so that's what we did. We were always likely to get 5-7 goals because we knew we had to. If they had fielded (Strongest) players who had got them relegated through the season , Rovers would have had 7 by half time. |

I've got a terrace season ticket and take my grandson on a game by game basis, not night games, and games when he's not available, holiday etc, so about 10 matches. Looking at season ticket sold diagram I would guess about 30 to 40% of terrace places have already gone. Does the club have limit so allowing pay on the day.

When the 7th goal went in Billy and the team all ran to the corner and I think what looked like some youth team players went over to them. The Thatchers end followed their lead. Stewards, well not enough, and and they are not nightclub bouncers. It's lucky some Rovers players were not injured, three men jumped on Billy nearly knocking him over.
Points deduction? maybe, but it would probably be next season.

Turnstiles for West enclosure and south stands had difficulty scanning barcodes, saw people climbing over turnstiles not much option when there's 50 behind them. Let's hope they sort it out for next season, lot more sell outs.

Ebou Adams of FGR was sent off in the penultimate game last season, and seems to have missed the last game and the first playoff semi.

Scunthorpe played 7 teenagers today. Got a good result for them, perhaps Hill will reward them by picking an unchanged team for next game.

Just relax everyone, we were due a result like this. And, we're still nicely in the playoffs so deep breath, we're ok. Dejavu, 15/16 season 28.03.16, 39th game, Carlisle away, lost by 1 goal. |
