I've always thought an underground carpark would be good and we could then utilize all of the surface carpark. Cars in and out on to Filton rd.

6. A unifying park and recreation zone that connects to Bristolโs infrastructure Raised above the existing rail yard a new park connects to the subterranean world of the causeway supporting sports recreation and play spaces that are easily accessible to the living and working inhabitants. So could this be the rail yard behind the fruit market? If so this would open up the land and link to the proposed stadium quite nicely.

Pretty sure these big screens require planning consent, so maybe thatโs the cause of the delay๐ฌ Na it doesn't, it's like the old School TVs on wheels so it can be rolled in and out! Temporary structure no planning needed ๐๐

Donโt forget we need space to install our state of the art scoreboard when it finally arrives, but after looking at the new family stand yesterday I am starting to get a bit worried what that will look like . 55" wide screen with 2x HDMI connection's apparently. Not just any old screen!

Buy one or two of the houses along Filton Ave and you could have some good access into the ground.

Micro Brewery? think this was mentioned not long ago when talks were started with the locals about the latest Mem development. This would be a great addition to the stadium and a very good money spinner. Beer straight to the stadium bars and bottle beers to walk home with. They could also supply local shops and pubs and sell gift packs in the club shop.

Given we've not even applied for pp for the scaled down version who's to say 2019 won't become 2020, 2021 etc as there seem no obvious reason why we can't have it up and running for this summer. How are we going to gain PP and get it built in time for the summer? Would they not get planning for the full trainning ground and then just build parts of it over time??

Rugby back at the Mem or the UWE? bristol could host a rugby league club from 2019 after a proposal for Oxford and Gloucestershire All Golds to merge and form a new team in the city was accepted by the Rugby Football League. The two League One clubs will not compete in 2018, and will instead focus their efforts on creating a viable club to join the third tier in 2019. The plan depends on significant financial backing and RFL approval. League One will consist of 14 clubs instead of 16 in the 2018 season. RFL chief operating officer Ralph Rimmer said: "There is an expectation on all clubs in the professional game to offer a clear strategy that demonstrates their plans to help grow and strengthen the sport in future years. "Oxford and Gloucester have come to the conclusion that the best way for them to now move forward is by creating a new club in Bristol that is backed by significant support and investment. "The RFL board has accepted this and is looking forward to seeing further detailed plans for the new club in due course." Earlier in October, plans for a New York rugby league team to follow Toronto Wolfpack into the English game were submitted to the RFL. Toronto were promoted from League One to the Championship, the game's second tier, at the first attempt in 2017. The consortium for the New York club hopes to get the go-ahead in time to enter the competition in 2019 at Championship level. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/41761769

Goodison has very very steep stands and you have the width of a road between the stands and houses. Aside we arnt redeveloping the mem anyway its a con. Well, I wasn't suggesting a 40,000 seater. Someone said there's not a lot of room to do anything, and so I replied with that. Nothing to do with the steepness of the stands. There's room to build a stadium at the Mem, clearly. Could the access and service roads be built under ground allowing the stadium to have more room.

Not one to spread rumours, but I understand that rumours are circulating within the Bristol football community that all is not well at the Mem. Sources have told me that Dwayne Sports do not want to spend any money on the club and expect us to make profits. If any of this is true, then I can now understand why we pulled away from the UWE Stadium project. There are also rumours of conflicts within the Al Qadi family regarding the spending of money on Bristol Rovers. Hope none of this is true, but with many asking why Chinese people were at the game with Plymouth on Saturday makes me wonder if the Al Qadi take over has gone sour and the family are now looking at options to pull out! Seems like we are back in a mess, AGAIN!!!! I'm sure our owners can count being very successful banker's and business men. ๐
