I'd give 110% for the shirt, it doesn't mean that I'm capable of playing Div 1 football. Bar a couple bid decent games after MT left he just never looked like scoring, or even getting in goalscoring positions. I'm not having a go at people who don't think he is good enough, it is the ones who are constantly repeating themselves and with the constant water taking to go with it. I think he deserves more respect than that. When you think of all the lazy journeyman we have had over the years who are just here to rinse the club as much as they can, I just don't think he deserves to be spoke about with the same amount of disrespect as those people do. Nah, f**k him, he was sh**e. Trololol

LOL 33 forum users would like him back, so that's GGMI plus 32 x 82'ers who've voted in the poll?

The thing is people say "Trust in DC" when he re-signs Ellis, but are quick to criticise DC for wanting to sign LJ.
LJ was not as bad as people make him out to be, he did get in positions and he did come close to scoring. He hit the bar/post a couple of times and of course there was the missed penalty. He could be a confidence player, and still young he has a lot of time to mature and turn into the striker DC thinks he can be.
Think prior to DC when all we really wanted was players who gave 110% for the shirt. Whether LJ ends up being a good signing if he signs, at least the lad tries. We have had some sh** over the years who haven't tried and to constantly get on the lads back is a bit harsh. He knows he has to score.

I was fully behind him and appreciated his work ethic, but as a striker you are judged on your goals to games ratio, so based on that hope we look elsewhere. Too many scuffed shots for me, never really looked like scoring but us fans like a trier! T boner up front may have converted more chances.

..possibly. In the interview with him when he signed, the person questioning him said there was an option to buy him after the loan, which, I'm guessing would be a cut price than if anyone else wanted him. So surely a take it or leave it. With reports that we've signed him and the owner confirming that a bid has been accepted for him, & now its down to personal terms, surely it's us? He was spotted in Bristol yesterday, too..Wait, I dont understand.. Why did we not just trigger the signing bid? We made a bid lower than the one in the contract so why didn't we just take the offer since now we've expressed interest they'll be looking for as much money as possible.

Sign him and play him in 'the beard role', he is just as hard working and has an eye for the killer pass to play the strikers in , not knocking the former but there is n't any end product to his undoubted endeavors, well remember James playing Rory and Ellis in on goal.

He was hard working I will give you that but for me he seemed to fall over a lot of the time and was very easily out muscled off the ball by the opposition, not something I would associate with the beard.

Tom Nichols will be his strike partner next year. Is Nichols going to Barrow? Why would Barrow want him? Life`s difficult enough for them, as it is.
