The report says that was only our second win, but it seems we're improving fast or Plymuff's 1st team players only put in half a shift, good to see Burn & Rollin kept a clean sheet ahead of the Scunthorpe match.

We won 2 development cup matches as well as the league wins and 2 friendlies played recently. We lost to a strong cheltenham team also.

Given that our best defensive performances so far this season seem to have involved Broadbent and Rollin I think DC should consider using that partnership more for the 1st team.
The first time I saw Rollin play was in the preseason friendly against Mangotsfield where he captained the side. Ok it was a youth team against a non league team and a friendly but I was immediately impressed at how he was solid as a rock snuffing out the first sign of any trouble, great at winning all of the balls in the air that came his way.
Our problems this season are clearly all defensive, and this is our hour of need. I think he's already proved he can cut it in the 1st team and should be given a run of games with Broadbent to see how they hold up.
Let's be honest we've not got alot to loose have we?

Development Squad Players Get More First Team Experience On Loan
Midfielder Mohamed Baghdadi yesterday became the latest Development Squad player to seek additional First Team games to further his development.
Baghdadi joined Southern League Premier Division side Dorchester Town on a month-long loan on Tuesday and went straight into their starting 11 to take on Basingstoke that evening.
However, Mo isn't the first Development Squad player to seek additional games to further his progression as he looks for a spot in the Rovers first team.
Currently, Rovers Academy graduates Lewis Leigh-Gilchrist and Lewis Ellington are on loan at Yate Town and Mangotsfield Town respectively with Charlie Ten-Grotenhuis on loan at Gloucester City.
Fellow Development Squad players Ben Morgan, Cameron Ebbutt and Thom Jonkerman have also spent time on loan from the club as they experience men's First Team football and further their development.
The club's Development Squad are currently on a bit of a roll having won their previous six games with the latest victory coming against Plymouth Argyle Tuesday afternoon in the Central League.
Up next for the Development Squad is local rivals Bristol City in the Central League Cup, that fixture will take place at Weston Super Mare FC [Winterstoke Rd, Weston-super-Mare BS24 9AA] on Thursday 16th November.

These two threads on the development squad are both good but they cover the exact same subject. Any chance they can be merged?

GGMI-Posted on the other U 23 squad thread 9 hours ago!!!!!! Yes but the bad spelling/grammar in the thread title hurts my eyes. This was the original thread so therefore it was you posting on the wrong one.
