I guess that depends on the respective land values/feasibility, although SH & Wael have always said there was no Plan B. Splashing out on two decent goalies today does give you hope we do have money. I'm guessing its a case of soon Wael wants a return on his investment with our current stadium he's limited by means of the grounds overall capacity and its available facilities or in the mems case the lack of them. Does he really want to add another 5 years of waiting on to that time by having to apply for planning permission its like starting from scratch again Wait 5 years and own the land for ever, or agree a deal with the UWE to lease the land and never own it. Although I can't imagine it would take 5 years to get pp at Avonmouth probably 5 months if it was supported by S Glos/BCC.

Its a Govt Development Zone Normal planning regulations don't apply when it comes to timescales That big new warehouse down there only took 12 months from a empty site and i guessing that included PP

You'll be able to catch a water ferry from the city centre to Avonmouth, and have a booze cruise both on the way, and back again ! What can be wrong with that?

Tbf, I wouldn't be surprised if they built more flats there. But, then again, they have taken alot of land. Quite alot on Monday said it was rovers so I posted it. Maybe it will be our new stadium location? Surely they cant keep the new land owners names a secret forever?

Just opened this thread for the first time. Be honest, do I really need to read all 7 pages?

Would it be favourable in comparison to what? I'm sure the majority would be on the same wavelength that UWE would be more favourable than Avonmouth, but a new stadium in Avonmouth would be more favourable than staying at an old run-down Mem.
