The club need to come out now and properly communicate with the fans. The hastily arranged 11pm statement was an an embarrassment and an insult to our intelligence.

I wish I believed that but I don't. How about they communicate with us though that would be a start! Why what do we have to do with Dwyne sports ?? Don't be a dick. The owners of the football club need to communicate with the loyal and worried fans of that football club. If they don't then most of us ain't going to be "keeping the faith" as they are being told to do by the happy clappers.

Yes it was an embarrassment but it's done and been made now. To come out with another statement now would be shutting the stable door after the horse has already bolted. I don't know what else you want to hear anyway? For whatever reason, the stadium is dead.

We have had it confirmed by the club that they do not intend to release any more statements today." If true, that is feckin shocking !

I understand your frustration fella but maybe it means that it is not all done and dusted so until they have spoken to UWE they feel they can't say anymore, I'll get my tin hat.

Yeah, a Rovers fan, but just believe everything you hear from some randomer from UWE instead of our board. Don't you think that there's just the smallest chance that the UWE bloke might have been talking from his point of view, and with the interest of UWE in mind, maybe? I believe the owners are tight and have screwed up. They wanted to get a stadium on the cheap and UWE have stakeholders to answer to so they couldn't go below a certain price. This is just my opinion, given we've received no meaningful update for....well, ever? Except they could have had a stadium on the cheap, but they rejected the deal. And they've spent more on squad development in the past 18 months than the previous regime ever did.

Vice chancellor on radio bris.....rovers walked away.....uwe claim its madness.....best site with 'clean' passed planning in whole of country.....uwe already made confidential comprimise CLUB MUST MAKE STATEMENT NOW It depends, if this is a game of poker then it is not in their interest to make another statement. The trouble is, if this is a game of poker, Wael has 1,000 people stood behind him, trying to get a look at his cards, and loudly speculating what his hand might be.

We have only signed 2 players spending a bit of cash and brought in host of U23s from lower league clubs for nothing I don't think the money is there. UWE are saying they dont know why we pulled out, so wasnt done formally face to face. The situation is embarrassing.

I agree, we must have a statement now on the reasons why they have walked away. Also, would like to know who exactly was at the meeting with UWE. As fans, once again we have been kicked in the teeth by the people who we depend on to run out football club! This really is embarresing, what must they be thinking over the other side of the Avon? But there again, we are Bristol Rovers!
So what happens next? Crucially, the team MUST produce results on the pitch. Failure this season, and we really will see the Beginning Of The End for our beloved Bristol Rovers. UTG.
