You want a house. I want a house. Only one of us can own it. Not true see above. We can own half and lease half . Not sure if you saw the controversy around modern leasehold in new build houses recently, if you did I'm pretty sure you'd run a mile from any form of leasehold, recipe for bankruptcy.

So uwe wants it We want it and have finance Whos f**king lieing!!! probably neither... from the Club's point of view though it's probably 'not at ANY cost'... as in, it doesn't matter what the cost is... just get the stadium. The have to consider the bigger picture.

He's definitely, definitely setting it up for a redevelopment of the Mem.
"Hamer: Alternative sites for the stadium in the area are very few and far between"
That's what we'll do; cheap option as always.
That's it then for this football club to be honest. League One football at best. Most likely L2/non-league.
Get a ST this year if you haven't already as it's likely to be the highest standard of football you'll see from us for the next century or so. The club's ceiling has literally dropped by about 200,000ft overnight.

No surprise there, don't think it ever has been. And not sure any new stadium can be without material increase in support. That is a gamble. Jordanian bankers ain't gamblers. And wael isn't going to gamble his dad / brothers money by the look of it, much as I think he'd like to

When the woodpecker is searching for food, or laying siege to some hidden grub, the sound of his Hamer is dead or muffled and is heard but a few yards......... ..........It is only upon dry, seasoned timber, freed of its bark, that he beats his reveille to spring and wooes his mate. Eric Cantona Jon?

Gashead join with Horfield Rose in attempts to block redevelopment of the Mem shocker! Don't worry, BCC will never allow us planning permission!

If can't fund the UWE then perhaps in selling up and moving on is no bad thing, I wonder with him gone there's still a chance the UWE can go ahead as w/o that you sense it's another 5 years or more just threading water, at best, at the Mem. I understand Gasincider's "consortium" never did find another club to invest in. Fairy tales and figments of people's imagination find it notoriously difficult to raise enough capital to invest in a football club.

Disgraceful statement but probably the nearest thing to the truth he said. His puppet masters don't have the money for UWE but could put together a good team in a sh** ground like Bournemouth have.

I learnt from that, that we set a deadline. Great.
The wombles statement was pathetic, I guess he was feeling the pressure.
So.
1. Why did the deal fall through? Simple question.

Everybody who keeps saying its a great idea, need to look beyond there being a few pubs near by. Please lets not seriously consider the Mem.

I'd happily sell my house and put all of the money on us re-developing the Mem if a bookie would offer me a price. But that's it for this football club if so. The best we'll ever achieve is League One football (at that). We might get one crazy promotion to the Championship, but it'll never be even close to sustainable. The dream died today IMO.
