Spot on Henbury. Build it and they will come! A lot of gasheads need to smell the coffee and accept if the UWE site was not suitable nowhere anywhere near the Mem will be. Brownfield has got to be the way to go with few planning and local population pressure group problems to deal with. Have you ever been to the industrial section of Avonmouth? I defy anyone to stand around there for more than 10 minutes and not have a strong desire to leave. You could always watch on ifollow

And so it all begins again, haven't you learnt from all the past stadium failures? Don't let past failures determine what your future success will be. Why not? I have now lost the will to get excited about another stadium project, you however are probably 2 or 3 stadium projects behind me but you'll leave and learn!

From the new motorway junction you would go nowhere near Avonmouth to get to that area. My original post was meant to contradict the information that was put about that there is no development land suitable in Bristol or South Glostershire, when clearly there is!

Quick dap up the coast road to my old mans local the Kings Arms, that would take a dozen of us for sure Could be an opportunity for Severn Beach to replace the Severn Salmon, only demolished 15 years ago

Ain't never going to happen in Avonmouth/Severnside area as there are still 2 top tier COMAH sites in the area ! One being the petrol storage at Hallen and the other being the chemical plant at Severnside near Severn Beach !
