So, it'll be just you talking to two others then. Why be negative for the sake of being negative? I'm normally a very positive person, but the events of the last week haven't been that positive have they?

Ain't never going to happen in Avonmouth/Severnside area as there are still 2 top tier COMAH sites in the area ! One being the petrol storage at Hallen and the other being the chemical plant at Severnside near Severn Beach ! Is that still in use ??

We may have another plan which is bigger and better being announced by Wael on Saturday... See those pigs flying in formation over the sh** tip mem ?

If there was good news, they'd be all over the media.

New ground won't never happen so we will be happily be at the mem and there's plenty of watering holes around the areaπΊπ»ππ·π₯ππ¦π© That's fine if the beer is more important that the division we play in. Could only use the Mem. for 3 season max if we every got promotion.

Esso have their petrol dist site adjacent the docks and Hallen has a flo gas site, not sure aboutique the old aviation fuel site there. None of these will impact on a stadium build just as they would on a vast employment area which this is planned to be. All the major chemical sites Albemarle, Rhodia, Philblacks etc have long gone and the sites have been cleared. They were the ones with the really potent stuff.

The sewage works just off junction 18 is a different matter. Never been sorted in the last ten years to my knowledge. There again piling up large piles of sh** ready for transportation by road was hardly going to be a smell free success story!

So, it'll be just you talking to two others then. Why be negative for the sake of being negative? Our most realistic chance of a getting a decent new stadium in decades has just bitten the dust, and you think we all need to be positive? Then to top it all the best land we can find is in the middle of nowhere! There's plenty of land around Emersons Green, even Filton, if the ALQ's want to find an alternative site, which I sense they don't.

There's plenty of land around Emersons Green, even Filton, if the ALQ's want to find an alternative site, which I sense they don't. If 2000+ gasheads are prepared to travel to god forsaken places like Charlton, Coventry etc, I feel quite sure an extra twenty minutes from the Mem won' worry them. I pass the site on the M49 everytime I travel to Bristol and it takes 15/20 minutes to the Mem from there. Have a look at the traffic by the MOD anytime of day and then wonder how long it would have taken to get out of the UWE and around that roundabout let alone the infamous ring road. As far as I am concerned location is not important, however a new ground is and those who travelled to Bath for every home game are hardly going to worry about a drive to the Avonmouth/Severnside area. Emmerson's Green, Filton sound great and I would hope are owners would look at suitable sites there, but I for one would hope they would look farther afield if those areas prove fruitless as the alternative at the Mem will simply mean one thing. Were definately going no higher in the football pyramid.

Astra Zenica, is a very dangerous site ,god forbid if there was a major explosion, every living thing with in a 2 mile radius would be dead ,
