I thought we played 4-3-3 with bodin-nicholls-harrison up front on tuesday in a different way to the usual dc 4-3-3 if that makes sense? and i was wondering if dc will be brave enough to go with that v stronger opposition?
i feel certain that harrison and sinclair will start though.
People saying about telford and bola not playing but you can only start with 11 players. The loans we had last season who played well when given the chance kept there place in the team while the others who didnt produce consistent form were left out, seems normal to me.

I'm pretty sure since played in the 3 in midfield on Tuesday? Didn't it go: Smith Leads. Locks. Sweeney. Brown Sercombe Lines. Sinclair Bodin. Nichols. Harrison What are you basing that on? What was posted on twitter? No I was at the game, yes Sinclair was was left of the three midfielders but I don't think he was playing left wing

For me, I wouldnt have Clarke in a 3 or 4 man midfield with the options we currently have, I would go with Sinclair for his energy and pressing ability instead. I think we will see a similar formation to Tuesday night against a strong Peterborough team.

Having seen Sercombes goal moving from left to right before shooting...maybe a spot on the left for him
RW-Bodin RC-Lines LC-Clarke/Sinclair LW-Sercombe
across midfield as an option It wont be the line up obviously...but you never know with D.C.

For me I think it'll be:
GK - Smith
LB - Brown CB - Sweeney CB - Locks RB - Partington (not sure if Leads is fit after he came off Tues?)
LCM - Sercs CM - Clarke (O) RCM - Lines
LF - Nichols CF - Harrison RF - Bodin
Subs : Leads, Slocombe, Gaffney, Moore, Telford, Sincs, Broadbent
Think we'll start 4-3-3 and go to 4-4-2 in the 2nd Half when we're a goal or 2 up!

And that is exactly the starting lineup I'd go for tomorrow with the possibility of Moore over Harrison

This is what I was saying before tues game and after it. With Bodin cutting in from right and Sercombe from the left you've got two attacking midfielders there that could get us 15+ goals each this season. I do think Gafney would be better at holding it up and playing them in than Harrison though, as Gafney showed with his pass for Sercombe goal.

I read somewhere that one of the things that frustrated sercombe at oxford was that the manager kept playing him out wide[last season]. He prefers to play central and he looks pretty useful there so far.

Very much hope Telford isn't going to be another of these loans that does not see the light of day. Personally thought Ollie Clarke was back to his old ways of totally disappearing last weekend so would leave him out and put Lines in. Other than that agree with OP team. weren't most of the team poor? Of course DC's favourites played on Tuesday again and played fine. Brown's usless crossing wasn't a problem on Tuesday etc, etc
In your team for the next game on your match report, you gave Sercombe the captaincy based on what exactly other than you think Tom isn't up to it
Brown's "useless crossing" was not a problem on Tuesday because he hardly got the ball to cross. In fact on several occasions he was ignored by Nichols and Co and left as a spectator on the left side of Cambridges area.

Think it was just a case of easing Leadbitter and Partington back in after injuries. Hence giving them both 45 minute or so.
