Bideford - not saying you didn't see what you saw or weren't at the match, just that I saw something different and from my perspective I thought Brown played well, put in some decent crosses and wasn't ignored (he was used as a decoy sometimes to help create space).... My view is that Brown is a solid consistent full back who is a decent crosser of the ball. He on the odd occasion doesn't play as well as he normally does but he is no weak link ..... I am not saying Brown did not have a good game, he played reasonably as far as I am concerned. I was in hospitality with the FFSC on Tuesday night and watched the game from the boxes at the bacK of the Dribuild right on the halfway line. I normally watch from the West enclosure as I will today. The view from that high up gives a vastly superior view especially of the whole pitch and you can see far more movement etc from the players.I simply posted what I saw nothing more, others are entitled to their opinions and they are perfectly entitled to as far as I am concerned. Fair enough Bideford..... I was in the Blackthorn so no wonder we saw different things! I agree everyone is entitled to their own opinions........ (As long as they're the same as mine 😁.......joke by the way before some people on here jump on that!)

I must be blind then as he put a string of superb crosses in and i think had 2 assists? You obviously were not at the game on tuesday night. I was at the game, he played a crossfield pass to BB for the first goal and crossed for Ellis to head the third. Other than that most of the crosses from that side came in from Nichols and I struggle to remember a string of superb crosses you mention he put in. If that was the case he would have been MOM by a country mile. Have a look at his scores by people who attended on the regular thread at the top of the page. Lets hope he has another shocker today but has 2 assists.

A lot of people not keen on O.Clarke atm despite the fact he was one of the first players on everyone's team sheets during the second half of last season. People do have very short memories.

Is Broadbent an out and out center half or can he play anywhere across the back four?
I guess he's been unlucky in losing his hard earned place to Sweeney but given his performance last season Sweeney was always likely to get first dibs in starting.

Seen the size of him ! - he can play wherever he bloody likes

Like the look of today's team now it's out if Sincs plays more narrow LM and Bodin pushes on so its more like a 4-3-3....
Good to see Leads back in as his pace and overlap will be key for us (just like Brown's overlaps will be on the other side) ....
