Yet you've been singing Southends praises with their signings especially at the back. They lost 5-0. One of those defensive signings was injured and one of them came on when they were 3-0 down. They also beat title favourites Blackburn on the opening day when we couldn't score or beat a team with 10 men. Title favorites Blackburn also lost at home yesterday, To a team they were 2 divisions above last season. Which makes the meltdown from some about our first 2 games laughable. We have been poor, of course we have, but there's 44 games left. Sheffield United were bottom after 5 games last season and ended up winning the league by a mile come May. Let's try to not get carried away, shall we?

Let's try to not get carried away, shall we? I'm not getting carried away with anything. Perhaps you should tell that to DC instead: “It’s a disastrous first week for us, there is no point papering over the cracks,” admitted the Rovers boss. “I don’t want to be hearing about the top six, I don’t want to be hearing about that, because we are miles away from being a top six team." “What concerned me were one or two fluffy players, I call them fluffy because they looked mentally weak and a little bit mentally shot and I don’t have that in my team." “It’s back to drawing board from where I stand. Another tough week, I pick the team, I bring the players into the football club and it’s been a disastrous start to the season for us."

Someone bought Rovers coz they love money? They must be f**king idiots. I agree with that but the money they stand to make is helping realise potential and maybe using a modern stadium with wuality meeting rooms etc for other events. There can be no other reason why they purchased the club I can't see how they're due to make money.

Been away for a week is plan B underway then? I thought plan A was redeveloping the Mem and plan B was building UWE. Are we now on plan C or is this now reverting back to plan A. I'm confused.

So basically, not a lot different to when Higgs was at the helm. No Higgs wanted to ram through UWE whatever the implications. Some flaky leasehold with us paying hideous amounts years down the line or worse. Thank goodness we havent gone that way.

Either way the end result remains the same, no new ground.

The Al Qadis are right not to go down that route. Higgs was.

So basically, not a lot different to when Higgs was at the helm. We are £25m better off ! How do you work that out? When NH sold up we had debts of around £8m, now we have debts of around £10 plus DS have paid out around £1m(?) to purchase The Colony for the club.
