Where has this extra B come from in his name? 😕 Are you referring to the B's in Billy Bob Bodin? No, Billy Bodin.

Every player is for sale at the correct price. We could rebuff all bids, but BBB could hand in a transfer request now and that would be it, regardless of his contract length.
If you have a long contract, then it makes it awkward for the player as the club hold the cards.
But on Saturday he could go out and snap his leg in 2, those suitors retreat and he will only get paid until June.
It's a fickle world football but that's how it works.

Or you could do a Muzzy Carayol and bitch on social media that you are being held a prisoner by the club and, hey presto, you get your move. The players hold all the cards, if they want to move, they move.

I'm really struggling to understand what is going on in the transfer market. Marvin Johnson 26 yo winger with 7 goals for Oxford last season is reportedly close to signing for Middlesborough in a £3m deal subject to a medical. What is the discriminator between him & BB I wonder?

What is the discriminator between him & BB I wonder? Other than a year longer on his contract I'm not sure? Maybe quicker? I don't know much aout him. It seems madness though. We can certainly use that as a bargaining tool if we did come to sell him.

Does BB have the same agent as MT - worrying as both contracts were drawn up around the same time last year. We'll know soon enough.

sadly no-one will bid over £500,000-ish for him because there hasn't been much hype over him and he isn't some ex-child prodigy / ex-PL academy product / has funny hair or a funny name. Bonkers but true. Higher clubs still have so much money and so little real analysis of the lower divisions that they do often pay over the odds for hyped up players and miss far cheaper prospects. Football is a funny old game. Some players go for more than their longer-term ability/prospects shows would be a fair figure (Marcus browning, Gareth Taylor-maybe, Will Hoskins, snake) and others go for far less than they really 'should' have been (cureton, lambo, yates, carayol). I think that's why Gasheads could just about handle martyn, roberts, hayles etc leaving because of the high amounts (fair-ish amounts...) they went for. my head is currently slightly swollen
