There will be lots of interest, hope he stays but every player has their price, looking at comparables would say he is similar to Kemar Roofe in ability, and it is believed dirty Leeds paid 3 million for him. Ollie Watkins has done well in a lower league and was two million. if we received 3 million you would hope to have half to invest in the team, but not sure that would happen. what we need to do pronto is get him to sign a new contract with no stupid 300 k release clauses, he ain't Mbappe but he is more talented than the bearded snake! Your thoughts?

Less likely to get his move and will need to have clauses inserted etc to persuade him. Anyway it's all ifs and buts until he signs a new contract. As things stand there will be no way we will get £3million for him.

Worth far more than any offer we will receive before this transfer window closes.

I'm sure DC has already sorted this----remember the Serpant wanted away at the end of last season but no Championship came in no one really expected the desperate 82 franchise would come in to take the pressure of Lickle Lee did they? I think BB is a different bloke to Taylor he will appreciate DC saved him from the scrap heap and helped I him become the player he is so there will be loyalty I hope? Remember DC took The snake from warming the bench at Forest Green and developed him in to a top player but he has ended up warming the bench at the Bristol Rugby ground but he's getting loads of money which is all he cares about!, UTG

Just hope he doesn't have the same agent as the 🐍!
Billy seems a really nice lad, hopefully he will treat the club with the same respect that he has been given.
If no one comes in for him this time around then I would like to think he would sign a new deal (minimum 2 years) without any unfair clauses, after all the club have invested a lot in developing him to make him the talented player he is now.
There's no doubt he is championship quality and he should have no problems getting sensible offers on the table that would allow him to move whilst paying back a reasonable sum to the club (i.e not a paltry 300k a la 🐍).
If he behaves in the right way then he can leave the club with his head held high and will be thought of kindly by the club and it's supporters forever more.

Bill took a little while to settle into our league two team and again when we were promoted to league one. Hopefully he has learned from the snake to bide his time and develop with a team which has showed him patience and try to get to the championship with us rather than step up a level and be cast on the heap snake style.
In answer to the op, £4,265,017.22

The Snake is a muggy C#nt and went from being almost a Rovers hero to the lowest in recent history for me.

1 million because of the contract issue. If it was longer then I'd want closer to 2 million. If we wait until January then we will be lucky to get 300k again!

I think rovers would accept 800k now but if we can get him on a new deal maybe as much as £2m? If a championship club came in for him he would double his money at least and get to play in better football. If a player has any ambition he would want to go.

If a club went in and offered 300k and he wanted a move then he would be sold I reckon. Anyone quoting millions is having a giraffe.

Its a lot to do with that i agree but a quick look at the clubs in the championship compared to league 1 will tell you its a much more attractive place to be for a professional footballer who believes in himself.

I think your absolutely right with these estimates. Realistically if he won't sign a new contract then it's better to sell now if the right offer comes in. I just home contract talk are progressing well and we don't get stitched up again.
