I'm not suprised, £500,000 is an insult.
Regardless of contract length he's worth a couple of Million in today's market easily!

I should think so. Oxford sold a 6-goal-winger for 3 million. With equal contract lengths, that would value Bodin at at least 5 million.

500k would not be enough to replace Bodin. Right decision.

right now we should be trying to get Billy To sign a co react extension of 2 years on a good wedge. no pathetic release clause included.

I do hope he signs a renewed contract and we pay him to stay. I fully expect him to go for a 7 figure sum in January if he scores another 10 goals before January window closes. We would have been top 6 last year had we not had snake leave in January and I would fear goals being more scarce without Billy. If Rovers got decent money for him and he was able to progress to a higher level - who could blame him. He currently plays for Wael but I think he will play for Wales!

I know its to do with current contract lengths but when was the last time we saw a true and decent offer from another club for one of our better players?
Does water me off.

Rovers have been seen as cheap targets since the Snake fiasco. Clubs now insult rovers by making offers they wouldn't consider f they were offering another club like Oxford for example. £5 million price tag...end of bargaining.
If Roberts ,Ellington ,stewart, G Taylor and Hayles all went for million pound plus deals .Then a right sided goalscorer is worth the same. Even Marcus Browning went for half a million. How many years ago were those transfers ?
